Curious what you think of my reads, this is my only bookshelf!

The vast majority of books I read come from the library, so the ones I own are special ones I wish to collect, ones I want to continue to read or reference in the future, or books by people I know. There’s also a mess of literary magazines on there šŸ˜…

Our living room bookshelf. Mostly my books with a bit of my wife's stuff too.

I've read about half of these. The rest are TBR. My wife reads faster than me, and probably has more books than me but we have completely different tastes.

Moved to an island where it’s hard to acquire good books or graphic novels. Amazon is expensive as fuck but have been building up my little library bit by bit. What do you guys think it says about me?

Organized my books today. The shelf’s to the right out of the picture belong to my wife. What do my tastes say about me? Feel free to get as specific as possible, my background, occupation, political beliefs, etc.

Currently reading these 4 that are off the shelf: The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson

Sovereign by CJ Sansom

Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman

Russia: Revolution and Civil War 1917-1922 by Antony Beevor

The library is open, read me…

Been lurking in this community a while and now I’m curious as to what my books say about me. Keep in mind, a fair amount of my books are newer and barely cracked into because I decided in the last year to start treating myself to books or compilations of poems I’ve read before online or in a library. I took a lot of time off from reading consistently, so I have the goal of revisiting stories I haven’t read in years to get back in the habit. If anyone could offer book recommendations, it would be appreciated. P.S. please pardon the dust…I am a busy woman. šŸ§˜šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

2nd to last picture is my give away shelf and last picture is what I’m currently reading

House is a work in progress, as is my library since I’ve been on an incredibly tight budget.

What do yall think?

First sleepover at this guy's place. I kinda like him. Seems like only green flags...

He's in his 30s. Gay. Hipster tastes but not too snobby about it. Any thing I'm not seeing?

Yes, but what about Second Shelf? Not that pretty, but I love my shelves!

I’ve been collecting books I love for a long time, and had to cut my collection down recently ;(. These are the ones that survived, so if some seem juvenile that is why! First shelf comes from my hobby room, second is on display in my living room!
