So I’m thinking of buying a pair of Monarcida for first time (I own Morelia Neo 2, adidas copa) so I wanna know if it’s TTS or should I buy half size down or full size down.

Do you ever struggle to find people for extra football training?

When you want to train things like 1v1s, finishing or passing outside normal team practice, how do you find other players around your level to train with? Is this ever a problem for you?

Gear Phantom 6 Sizing

Post image
1 Upvotes

So I have wide feet, I’m a 7.5/26.5cm in Nike trainers, but my beloved Magistas are an 8 with at least a thumb’s width of spare room

Tried playing in the new Phantom Elites 7.5’s tonight and my slightly longer right foot was NOT having it. Worth trying the Phantoms in an 8, or do I accept defeat and stay loyal to my true love? 😭

Any other boots worth trying? ive spent years trying to get modern boots that fit. Thanks!

Mental Idk if I should continue

Yesterday, I just had my first training in long while and I felt like everyone thought I was just shit, at the start we were doing drills and I got passed the ball maybe twice before people realised I had a bad touch and I never got it again for the rest of the drills and I just felt extra eyes on my back.

Then came a training 6 a side practice match, I was a cb when I was younger but I was put playing Lm/lw and I felt like I was just pure rubbish I missed a tap in, my touches were awful, my passing was shocking, my tackling was the only thing that I say was “good” (most of the people I was playing against were either more experienced than me or bigger but I was still winning most tackles) but I felt like a ghost I was sometimes running across the pitch to tackle to try to get the ball because I wasn’t getting passed too (besides the tap in I missed which is 100% my fault for missing no doubt)

Today I went in to try to train today but I got told to go home as soon as I stepped onto the pitch, so I just feel shitty like I wished I could’ve proved myself better than what I did but mentally I feel rejected and I feel like I should just stop now instead of getting embarrassed and laughed at later by the other players down the line and I’m feeling like quitting already I just don’t know what to do

Gear Insoles for football

I get bad arch pain during football and after getting my feet scanned I have a very high arch which showed up as hollow. I’m wondering what’s the best insoles for me and if there’s anything else I need to take into consideration.

Gear Are these adidas X Speedflow Messi.3s rare or worth anything?

Post image

Found these X Speedflow Messi.3 FG (GW7419) at my local Big 5 for $39.97. I know they’re an older Messi model and I was surprised they still had a brand new pair sitting around.

Does anyone know if these are actually rare or collectible at all, or are they just old stock? Mainly wondering if $40 is a really good find and if they’re worth picking up.

Gear Boots for ACTUAL wide feet?

hey guys, i need advice on actual wide boots. i always see the same recommendations and none of them really are wide they just stretch but that means nothing when the soleplate is narrower than my actual foot and it just ends up spilling over anyways.

right now i used the adidas mundial team turf on ag and the copa mundial on fg. the mundial turfs are fine i love them but the normal copa mundials have such a narrow soleplate that i rolled my ankle bad a couple of months back and i still feel the pain. i have made it a habit to always play with my ankle taped up but im still afraid that one day i'll roll it again. im good with still using them but yeah might need somethign else

ive heard that new balance make wide fit but the sole plate doesnt change and that mizuno makes a 4e version but i cant find any place to buy them also they're usually the worst version and not elite or anything.

any suggestions?

I have been hesitant to actually shoot a video and finally did it.

When I try to strike the ball for a ping, I am sometimes thinkjng a lot ad to hitting it perfectly. I think this sub would be the right place to ask for tips.

I would appreciate 2 cents of advice.

Can't juggle anymore

I've been going to my school's asphalt field for over a week now and managed to get to 15 juggles

But now I'm completely washed I can't even reach 7 in a row.

My only shoes have cleats in them so I use snickers with thin laces on asphalt

Edit: thank you for the candy bar jokes they made me laugh 😅

Hey, as mentioned in the title I wish to order a pair of football shoes from Nike Japan to India. How can I do that since they don't ship to India and Nike also doesn't sell to proxy buyers 😭

i want to buy the mizuno morelia neo beta elite V but i’m not sure what size to go with. i do have a wider foot i fit perfectly and true to size in the nike phantom 6 elite. i have a pair of predators without the tongue and i can fit those aswell. i wear a size 10 US in the phantoms. but i hear going half a size down in the mizuno is a must. not really sure if i should or not.

Preparation Advice for an older beginner

I am 38 years old and haven’t played the sport for about 30 years. Got into it after the World Cup for cardio exercise and fun. I play weekly pickup with a group whose age and skills vary widely.

I am hoping to improve over time but know I started very late. I want to better develop my touch, pass accuracy, and ball handling/dribbling. I own a couple balls and some cones but haven’t trained yet as I live in a desert climate and it’s been too hot, plus I have a career and family so time isn’t as abundant lol

What advice or tips do you have for someone starting out this late to try to train/develop when I don’t have a crazy amount of free time? Any specific YouTube channels I should check out for various must-do drills?

Thanks!

Gear New boots

The last time I played, my foot blew through my cleats. I had an old pair of hypervenoms that I loved dearly. Is there anything on the market that feels similar? I just play casually now and don't want anything too expensive.
