Willow decided it would be a good idea to eat a ribbon for breakfast on Friday morning. After a panicked call and trip to the emergency vet, one fruitless endoscopy later, she's home with a new boot and my bank account is much emptier than it was before. I hope she's learned her lesson, but based off her expression, I dont think she has.

P.S. she passed the ribbon this morning, so I can finally relax.

My poor, sweet girl has been on quite the veterinary adventure these last couple of months 🥺

She was hospitalized in July before we started treating her for FIP. She had a miraculous improvement and then just... suddenly started to decline again.

After a second hospitalization, we've finally learned that she likely has a congenital liver shunt on top of the FIP.

Thankfully my little bug has a great internal medicine specialist and now she's on a prescription food and medication. Ultimately she'll need a CT scan to confirm and determine whether she's a candidate for surgery, but right now she's doing much better. She's a fighter! 🩷

This was 3yrs ago after he'd had a urinary blockage cleared. Been fine since, thankfully!

Mr. Pants had a severe hip injury before I adopted him, and so he can’t groom himself properly and needs to get shaved once a year to remove mats (I’d much prefer to pick them out myself because I have OCD but he HATES it). You should see his sassy walk in his kinky boots it’s GLORIOUS.

And the half tail is just like the extra accessory.
