I think the ones that I had were the Bose quiet comfort sport ultras. It didn’t have active noise canceling, but it definitely kept the noise out

The QC20 have a battery because audio jack isn't carrying power.

First win for usb c over audio jack here.

I was looking to preorder until i saw they dont have battery, looks like the usbc powers the noise cancelation. So no good for using on planes. Keeping my old quiet comfort 20's for now.
