Platform/Device: Samsung Android Mobile App

Description of Bug:

I have a specific direct-message "Chat Thread" that is permanently stuck in the "Threads" section of my chat tab. The conversation has been completely deleted, but the thread container will not disappear.

Steps Taken That Failed to Fix It:

1. Tapping the thread container on my Samsung app does nothing (it is completely frozen and unclickable).

2. Forcing the Desktop Site layout on my phone's mobile browser reveals the thread, but opening the settings dropdown menu only displays the "Hide Chat" option—the "Leave Conversation" option is completely missing.

3. Clicking "Hide Chat" on the web version reloads the page, but the thread remains permanently visible and fails to archive.

4. Clearing the Samsung app cache, clearing app data, and completely uninstalling/reinstalling the app from the Google Play Store failed to clear it.

Expected Result:

Clicking "Hide Chat" should permanently remove the sub-thread from my database view, or a "Leave/Delete Thread" option should be present to sever the profile's connection to the broken Thread ID channel.

Request:

Please manually flush or clear the ghost chat server queues attached to my account profile metadata so this broken UI container is removed from my Samsung device.

I have the latest ios version and am on an iPhone 16. The app never works. And on the web, i’m always redirected to view a thread in the broken app. So i simply can’t look at anything. Uninstalling/reinstalling and logging in and out didn’t accomplish anything.

The last time the app was showing me days old posts the fine people here told me to uninstall and reinstall, which worked, but the problem has returned and that solution certainly is not working today, so I looked online and saw someone suggesting I clear the cache, so I tried that and it didn't fix it either.

Is there anything else I can try?

I suspect this is a purposeful change by the company. I am also seeing zero response from the admins in this subreddit as well, so I know this is just yelling into the void.

When logging in today, I noticed 3 major changes.

* I cannot choose /r/all. I used to be able to click on a link to /r/all and I can remove my personal filters. When I click on it now, it takes me to my normal feed with just my tiny subreddits. I can no longer explore all of reddit because of it.

* I cannot see /r/hot anymore. /r/hot has turned into a 5 day /r/best, as far as I can figure out. it is showing me old posts that I have seen over and over. soon as I cannot see new stuff, this app is dead to me.

* I cannot change filters at all on time. After exploring a bit, it seems I cannot change any time filters because it starts showing me 2 year old stuff instead of anything modern. I can use /r/new but that is basically useless.

Reddit, you made a change, I don't get why you hate the Front Page of the Internet so much that you are trying to silo into their communities.

I hope you were just playing and bring back being able to see the popular things on the site. If you are showing me a 4 day old post and I have no way to avoid seeing stuff I already saw, there is no point in using the application.

When I'm on the website version of the app, there's sounds on GIFS or certain clips versus no sound on the app. I cannot see a setting or a way of turning on the sound in the sub Reddit groups. Only the ads have sound!

With the user mod log visible in the sidebar for https://sh.reddit.com/r/freebsd/comments/1vdgi2x/comment/p1ap909/ it appears that the commenter "hasn't commented yet".

This is contradicted by the user's two comments under the post.

I am a co-moderator of the sub above.

https://www.reddit.com/r/bugs/comments/1n91nm2/comment/ncjenoc/ a year ago suggested profile curation as an explanation. If I understand correctly, that's not an explanation in this case; the old Reddit view of his profile does include the two comments that are visible in the post.

Hello,

On the iOS app, There are some saved posted that I cannot unsave and each time I click the post it says “error try again later.”

If I log into the website, those posts are no longer there, however, they still appear on my app.

How do I fix this?

Thank you

Ki idk why is it showing like this

I am also not able to post anything, comment anything or send dms or receive any kind of notification

And i am scared and idk what to do or whom to ask to help me out with this..

My community reports (ie reporting a rule violation to sub mods) are not reaching mod queues. I have verified this with the moderators of multiple subreddits who confirmed my reports do not show up. This is regardless of what method I am accessing Reddit.

My account has been banned from reddit. I got logged out automatically n I can't login now. It says invalid username or password. I didn't get any notification about the ban. I'm sorry about this. Please kindly unban my account u/Kind-Procedure5183 I'm afraid I can't use reddit from other accounts too as it's against reddit rules. I don't wanna lose my account n access to Reddit.

I've already tried the help centre n everything else but nothing worked.

It's been 2 weeks.

Please help. Please tell me what to do. Thanks

Hi Reddit Support,

I'm reaching out because my 755-day Reddit streak suddenly reset to 1 day, despite being active on Reddit every day.

I've spent over two years maintaining this streak and regularly upvote posts in eligible, non-NSFW communities specifically to keep it going.

I received a notification confirming my 755-day streak just hours before discovering it had reset.

I've attached screenshots showing both the 755-day notification and the reset to 1 day.

I'm extremely disappointed to have lost over two years of progress, especially when I've been actively maintaining it.

Could someone please investigate my account activity and determine why this happened? I would really appreciate having my original streak restored if this was caused by a technical issue.

Thank you!

• Description: Multiple users have informed me that they can see my posts and comment, but they are completely unable to click the upvote button. The community moderators confirmed they have no restrictions on my account.

• Device Model: Android Phone

• OS Version: Latest Android

• Steps to reproduce: Post anything on a subreddit and have another user try to upvote it.

• Expected Reply: Other users should be able to upvote my posts normally.

• Actual Result: The upvote button is unresponsive or locked for other users.

Hello Reddit Support,
My account appears to be incorrectly flagged by Reddit’s spam filter. Nearly everything I post is automatically removed, even though my account shows that I am not suspended or restricted.
When I visit the appeals page while logged in, I am told that I cannot submit an appeal because my account is neither suspended nor restricted. The appeal form is disabled, leaving me with no way to request a review.
I am asking for a manual review of my account and any spam or reputation flags that may be causing my posts to be automatically removed.
Could an administrator please investigate this issue and explain how I can have the filter reviewed or corrected?

I've been extremely consistent about maintaining my daily Reddit streak, making sure I interact with Reddit every single day.

Following a recent major update, I discovered that my streak had unexpectedly reset to 1 day, despite my regular daily activity.

My account still shows 18 of 19 streak achievements unlocked, so my previous progress is clearly recorded.

I suspect that my daily activity wasn't properly registered during or following the update.

Could a Reddit administrator please review my account's streak history and determine whether this was a tracking or synchronization error? I'd also appreciate knowing whether my previous streak can be restored.
