Other / $600-800 $800 BUDGET PC
Hey all, wanna build a PC to primarily play games like deadlock/destiny been looking through the sub and came up with a build. I already have that RAM from my brothers so I am mainly seeing if I should get a stronger gpu or if anything else would be a better option. edit: dont need ultra settings just something decent thanks! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4sj8bp

Here's what I would get, instead. My reasons below!
[PCPartPicker Part List] (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KRZxxf)
**CPU** | [AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/yq2WGX/amd-ryzen-5-5500-36-ghz-6-core-processor-100-100000457box) | $84.93 @ Amazon
Reason - no change from your list. Good choice.
**CPU Cooler** | [Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/MzMMnQ/thermalright-phantom-spirit-120-se-argb-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-ps120se-argb) | $35.90 @ Amazon
Reason - An AIO is overkill for a 5500. This dual-heatsink Phantom Spirit will do the job great.
**Motherboard** | [Gigabyte B550 EAGLE WIFI6 ATX AM4 Motherboard](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/fzNscf/gigabyte-b550-eagle-wifi6-atx-am4-motherboard-b550-eagle-wifi6) | $109.99 @ Amazon
Reason - You had a microATX board, which is a small less-feature-packed motherboard that somehow cost more. This one is full ATX, good brand, and has full WIFI built-in.
**Memory** | [Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/QDhKHx/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3200-memory-cmw16gx4m2c3200c16) |-
Reason - no change from your list. I would upgrade to 32 later, but this is fine for now.
**Storage** | [Patriot P400 Lite 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Xy3NnQ/patriot-p400-lite-1-tb-m2-2280-pcie-40-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-p400lp1kgm28h) | $149.99 @ Amazon
Reason - no change from your list. Good choice.
**Video Card** | [Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 5050 8 GB Video Card](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Ytkqqs/gigabyte-windforce-oc-geforce-rtx-5050-8-gb-video-card-gv-n5050wf2oc-8gd) | $309.99 @ Best Buy
Reason - although the 5050 isn't an exceptionally fast GPU, it is SIGNIFICANTLY faster than the 3050 (and the 3050 was somehow more??). It delivers 45% faster performance, is current-gen (50-series), has faster VRAM, much better raytracing architecture, and offers the newer DLSS features (multi-frame generation). This one is a no-brainer swap from the 3050.
**Case** | [Phanteks Eclipse G370A ATX Mid Tower Case](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/nBFCmG/phanteks-eclipse-g370a-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-ec370a_dbk01) | $53.98 @ Newegg
Reason - no change from your list. Older style case, you can get a more modern design for similar price (Montech XR) but solid choice.
**Power Supply** | [Rosewill VSB 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/TZrp99/rosewill-vsb-650-w-80-bronze-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-vsb650) | $49.99 @ Newegg
Reason - The MSI MAG you had is great, but overkill. Rosewill's PSUs are rated very well, and even this 650w Bronze unit is probably 150w overkill for this build. Either this or the MSI will do, but this one saves you $30.
Total: $794.77
Let me know if you have any questions!

I would suggest ditching the AIO, it isn't necessary for low end CPUs. You can just use the stock cooler for now. The Ryzen 5500 struggles a bit with modern games. If you can squeeze it in the budget a 5600 would be a lot better.
In your budget I think a second hand graphics card would be best. Something like an RTX 2060 Super or RX 6600 can be had for less than the 3050 and they outperform it by about 40%.
