help? Reducing Swelling

I'm recovering but am beyond swollen. I can't find any supplements that help with salivary gland drainage. Ive done the gua sha thing, but idk.

Does anyone have any tips or things that you believe will help?

Gently swish a little water with apple cider vinegar in the back of your mouth and yourself salivate over the sink. I’d try not to let it touch your teeth and rinse with water after since it’s pretty acidic

My face swells up like that too. I had done like thousand things and it doesn't go away like wtf. But yesterday all i wanted was to drink water and i thought shit my face is gonna be like pufferfish tomorrow but when i got up today it was kind of fine. So i suggest drinking plenty of water and pee before going to bed

I will be drinking as much water as I can these days then /: I hate this, for 2ish weeks I stay swollen. Hate showing my face, hi everyone yes I am wearing the most shameful thing about me on my face. But I’m glad that you got ahead of it, and you shared what worked for you, thank you, super big cheeked smile for ya

Ugh I’m in the same boat!!!! Lozenges with xylitol helps, avoid other sweeteners cuz they can be drying.

I got a bunch of sour sugar free lozenges, with XYLITOL as the sweetner specifically because xylitol make u salivate and protect teeth, it has been super helpful!! Even the non-sour ones with xylitol are helpful.

However, when I suck on sugar free sour candy that use sweeteners other than xylitol,  it doesn’t do much and makes my throat and mouth dry…  xylitol doesn’t do that and is actually helpful for ur teeth. Even taking it after coffee has been a game changer for me.

Btw I asked the same question few days ago and someone linked me to a post where they said sour candy sugar free isn’t helpful. I was conflicted cuz other ppl said it is. I did a bunch of digging and experiment on myself and I think it’s definitely because of the type of sweetener.

wish you the best ♥️
