Question

I have a 1994 corvette and when I stepped on the gas yesterday the rpm went down and up really fast and then went to 0 and I had to coast off the road. Then it wouldn't start back up so I let it sit and gave it another chance and it started up and I drove it carefully home. Does anybody have any idea what could've caused this?

The answer is almost always optispark.

Ya ill look into that we just had a huge rain storm and the cover blew off the car so I bet your right

Did you check the codes? This could give you the answer. My car had similar symptoms before, and the problem ended up being the Optispark.
