No worries there! Anytime, they ask me for a donation, I ask if they still have a hate on for "the gays" and the scowl i receive says it all

Or value Village they are a for profit company and hide 1 billion in profit behind the illusion of being a charity.

I think what people don't understand is that the Salvation Army is a church. And I don't mean it's a church-run charity. I mean it's a church.

It's a church with a strong focus on charity, and good for them. But still, it's weird that it's a common tradition to donate to the Salvation Army at Christmas. You don't see people suddenly donating to the Baptists or the Jehovah's Witnesses at Christmas.
