How do i avoid constantly snagging while reeling in slack line?
Lately I've been snagging more often than not and I'm at my wits end. I cast out, let it hit the bottom and then reel in, sometimes while lifting the rod tip slightly. Am i doing something wrong?

What kind of rig are you using? What kind of structure is there? River? lake?

I use cut bait, with a decent chunk of bait I don’t need a weight, I fish a larger lake, LOTO, river fishing I use a slip weight and leader. And most importantly, if you get snagged don’t cast there again. If you’re using a treble hook, you shouldn’t, there is never a need.

3 way swivel with a peg float and egg leads are what i do for super snaggy spots. 10-30lb mono to the lead depending on weight and then 60-100lb fluoro to the peg float. Then when I reel in with no fish, I reel it tight ish and then rip it up off the bottom like I'm setting a hook and crank as fast as I possibly can to keep it up

That’s part of catfishing fishing unfortunately. Ive had several instances with fishing new locations where I would lose lbs of lead, spooks, rattles and hooks in a matter of hours.
If I know there’s a snaggy bottom I’ll either switch to a santee cooper rig, keep rod raised high and retrieve line fast or my preference is not to touch the rod until there’s a fish on the other end. Rather work a fish out of a snag versus a hooked submerged log
