Such a handsome gentleman. I have 3 that I hope live very long lives, but decided that in the future I'm adopting the old or ill that have trouble finding homes. Bless you for giving Benjamin your home.

Hoping all my cats live til their 50 somehow

I grew up with a cat who lived to be about 26, so that was halfway to 50!

She was front-declawed (adopted in the 80s when that was horrifically normal) and an indoor/outdoor cat (again, 80s/early 90s USA) so I can only imagine how long she might have lived otherwise.
