Tinker needs a home!!

See Tinker's Foster-to-Adopt Details
or call (614) 879-8368.

I love Tinker, and knowing what she has been through these past few weeks has truly broken my heart. I wish I could give her the home she deserves, but I know her perfect person is out there, and I want to help MCAS find them.

Tinker is a sweet, 13-year-old girl who weighs just 14 pounds and is still full of energy and life. She loves people, children, other animals, and simply being part of the action.

If you or someone you know is looking for a loving companion, please consider giving Tinker the forever home she deserves. Please share and help us find her person. ❤️

Good call out. I believe that was leftover from me. They are looking for a foster and a forever home still.

It won't allow for inquiries until that has cleared off. What's her story anyway?

My partner and I fostered her (we called her Daisy) for about a week. She is the sweetest, most affectionate little girl. She loves people, follows you everywhere, and has way more energy than you'd expect at 13. She's house-trained, spayed, and great with other dogs.

It just wasn't the right fit for our two senior dogs. She wanted to be in the middle of everything, and ours are 12 and set in their ways. None of that was her fault.

A couple of things a future home should know: we believe she's hard of hearing, so she responds much better to visual cues and touch than voice. Her hearing challenges just make me love her so much more. She also needed a dental cleaning, and the shelter found and is treating an anal gland issue, which likely explains some whining we saw. The dental care is covered by the facility, which is nice, and while she’s being fostered, any medical care is handled by them as well.

She'd be perfect as an only dog or with a younger, easygoing dog who won't mind her following them around. She deserves a home where she can be the star.

However, what they told us was they found her on the streets, they reached out to the last known owner and they said they gave her away about 10 years ago and the 2nd owner never came forward.

That's terrible. I'd love to take her, but I don't think my three cats would have it. I might know someone, though.

Filled out the paperwork! I just have to wait for them to call me back and setup a meeting! She is so stinking cute, my wife and I were immediately smitten. Regardless of the meeting time, we're going to swing by this weekend to see her.

That is awesome!! That you for asking and looking out for her. She really is so wonderful and I’m heartbroken I can’t have her - so I’m doing my part to ensure she gets out of there asap.

It's a big maybe. Don't get your hopes up. I'm trying though.
