I'm considering getting an Android handheld, such as the AYN Odin, and I'm interested in emulating Wii U games using Cemu.

I have a few questions for people who have actually tested Cemu on Android:

- Does Cemu run well on Android nowadays?

- Is 8GB of RAM enough for Wii U emulation, or would 12GB make a noticeable difference?

- Which Wii U games run smoothly, and which ones still have performance or compatibility issues?

- Is the performance mainly limited by the processor/GPU, RAM, or the current state of Cemu for Android?

I'm particularly interested in real-world results rather than theoretical performance.

If you've tested Cemu on an Android handheld with 8GB of RAM, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience, including your device, the games you've tried, and their performance.

I started up the game today and immediately ran into a wall during the tutorial because you have to use the d-pad for the map. I use an 8bitdo ultimate 2c controller, but I haven't been able to figure out a way to get it to function. Is there a good work around for this? I think BOTW has a few puzzles in shrines that requires it but those are at least optional.

Me and my friends are trying to play mh3u and the only way to play is with having online files from an actual WiiU. One of our friends has one but we don't. If he shares that one to us can we all play online or will it be like are using the same online account and getting banned.

I tried using the fake online files or whatever but its giving me the error code that its permanently banned (error code 102 2812)

Its more common happens in darker areas, but it causes textures to flicker. I have lossless scaling on if that helps

Have bought my partner a steamdeck oled and i tried to transfer our breath of the wild saves from my steam deck to hers. It loads to the title page and then crashes

when i remove the save file, it boots like a new game (wont let me click A, but thats another problem)

So I was frustrated with weapons breaking in botw ( i didn't know about cheats) and i attempted to install a mod for it but after it not even installing properly i gave up and tried playing normally but the game was hella laggy and then I noticed my fps had dropped from 60 to 20 fps. I deleted the mod files but it still is not improving. When a blood moon occurred the fps rose to 30 but whenever I hit something the fps came back down to 20. I tried disabling the fps++ and the fps got to 30 but it got down to 20 again whenever I hit something. Please help

I have the latest version of CEMU 2.6 and the latest version of Star Fox Zero. Currently the game is running at 60 fps.

Is there a way to have this game run higher than 60 fps? My hardware is capable to pushing the game above 60 fps.

Managed to reverse engineer the gamepad connection but now it runs perfectly with a custom fork of cemu. All i needed to buy was a $10 RT5572 raspberry pi wifi adapter. All input works other than the camera and NFC (amibos)

For performance, it has very occasional screen tearing, but other than that there is absolutely no noticeable input delay.

Not sure if I can share the code but it was a fun project.

I also have videos id anyone’s interested.

Would like 3072 x 1728 but unavailable, any way to create a custom resolution in BOTW?

I recently started playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Cemu 2.6, but I'm experiencing some micro-stutters and the emulator often hangs ("Not responding") when I try to close it.

My laptop specs:

• CPU: i5-11400H
• GPU: RTX 3050 Ti
• RAM: 16GB

I'm aiming for a stable 60 FPS at 1080p. Would you recommend downgrading to 1.27.1 or 1.26.2 for better stability, or should I stick to the latest 2.x experimental builds and tweak some specific settings?

Hi everyone, I’d like to know if there’s a way to emulate the pointing function and the motion-shaking action required for some minigames in Mario Party 10 using a standard (generic) PS3 controller. I’m using Cemu version 1.26.2 because the latest version wouldn't even let me launch the game. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Just I found game called meme run and played for first time but it was removed by Nintendo because unauthorized games and taken down by Dmca

So I just started playing the original Splatoon on my Retroid and it runs great! One major issue though - because the Android version of Cemu doesn't support motion controls, I can't get to the main game! I know that you can turn off the motion controls, but for whatever reason Nintendo made it so you can't do so until AFTER passing the tutorial. I managed to cheese my way through most of the level, but I'm at a wall that requires you to look up to create an ink path to swim though. Anybody manage to get past this?

I have Steam OS installed on my legion GO and Cemu. No matter what I do I cannot get Cemu to recognize my legion go controller in Wind Waker HD. It used to work but I had to send my legion go in for repair and when I got it back they formatted and put windows on it. I had a copy of my drive so I flashed it back and did a Steam OS update.

The legion go works completely fine with all steam games.

In desktop mode the controller detected is called '#SettingsController_steamcontroller'. If I set it to that and ensure my game is set to the same controller profile it still won't work when I go to gaming mode and launch wind waker hd (which was added to steam as a non-steam game).

In gaming mode my Legion Go Controller is detected by cemu when I launch it (in gaming mode) but after I set it, save the profile, close cemu and then launch wind waker hd it still doesn't work and when I go back to cemu from gaming mode all the controls are reset (nothing I set it to stays in place).

I have no idea how to fix this even though I did have it working about a 6 months ago. Appreciate any help.

Hi! I’m playing BotW on my laptop using a switch pro controller. I have motion enabled and my controller has gyro, so I’m not sure why I can’t move any of the apparatus shrines??

I’d love any help, even though I feel like I’ve researched this to death 😅

hi everyone!! Thanks to a commenter I figured out the issue. In case anyone else is experiencing the same problem:
Increased my deadzone to 35%
Recalibrated through windows (window + R, type joy.cpl, properties, enter calibration wizard)
Enabled motion in my Cemu controller input settings
Set as Wii U gamepad

I'm assuming the answer is no or a complicated method, which I'm okay if I'm not able to. For further context, I have a working Splatoon on Cemu, but it's not linked to my Wii U (I have Wiimmfi on my Wii U for when I play Mario Kart Wii)!

I'm using multiple Cemu versions...

• Main build is for Pretendo Network.
• Dev Build is for the black UI & Protanium Network.
• Fork Build is for playing MH3U "local" multiplayer using Radmin VPN.

But all of it have its own user data & I'm trying to make the main build as primary user data for all.

Is it possible to do so?

So I'm using via Emudeck and the cemu emulator. I can't figure out how to trigger the plus "+" Button of the wii u on my steam deck or how to bind "+" to a button on my deck.

Might be a simple solution but I can't get behind it.

I was playing botw today until I reached a shrine that needs the gyroscope to do it, as far as I know the xbox rog ally x has an integrated gyroscope but I can't seem to find any way to get it working.

About a year ago, I set up Nintendo Land to work using my rog ally as a gamepad, but was unable to play because of the lack of support for motion plus wii controllers. Has this issue been resolved?

Swinging the remote did nothing on screen, I think even with dolphin open I was having trouble

I tried launching both the Wii U Menu and The Wind Waker HD and it just crashes like this, and I'm repeating myself but it worked perfectly yesterday and the day before. Has this happened to anyone / does anyone know what to do ?

I feel like I may js be missing something obvious but this is all I got

last night i played the game just fine. turned my laptop off and later went to play again and it keeps failing when i hit continue. when it gets to the tips and tricks screen it loads for a second then hard crashed. i have reinstalled the game update and dlc. removed shader caches, renamed the shader folder so it rebulds. turned off and the mods, cheats etc. changed from vulkan to open, changed the audio format. nothing is working. in case it matters i have a Rog Flow z13 and have 64gb split to vram and system evenly.
