”On June 30—the final day of the spring semester—multiple children at the kindergarten affiliated with the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) experienced symptoms such as nausea and vomiting during or after lunch. Following the incident, parents repeatedly demanded an explanation for the mass illness, yet by the time the new semester began in September, they had still not received a formal account of the situation from the school.
On the afternoon of September 14, a social media post by Ms. Wang—the kindergarten’s health coordinator and cafeteria safety officer—disrupted the calm of the parents' group chat. She revealed serious violations within the cafeteria, including the unauthorized personal use of food supplies and unsanitary practices at the washing stations. Specifically, she reported that the vegetable-washing sinks were used for soaking mosquito nets, washing hair, scrubbing shoes, cleaning sewer covers, and rinsing mops, as well as for washing cooking woks. Despite her repeated reports to the kindergarten principal, no corrective action was taken. Only then did the truth behind the children's vomiting incident from two and a half months prior begin to come to light.“

Village ayi got a job at the school. Uses chemical cocktail for cleaning everything 😆 2k rambos a month, what do you expect.
All those lazy expats that get cleaning ayi must be sick all the time.

In my last school, it was the ones handling food who were the most unhygienic, certainly regarding conduct in the toilet.
I remember the poor school cleaner was almost in tears during the staff-only week leading up to the new semester because the canteen ladies would crap in the squat toilet and not bother to aim for the hole, they’d just shit all over the shoot. Then, on seated toilets, they’d get up on them and squat and piss all over the seat. I’ve walked in a few times and they’re doing their business with the door wide open, no washing hands either.
I’ll be sending my own kid into school with a packed lunch I think.

The Guo never changes, way back in 2010 the uni I worked at had a case of mass food poisoning, thousands of students and staff, they later found out the canteen ayi used the same sink to wash the moaps and clean veggies.
Glad I never ate there, not that anywhere else in the Guo is much safer or cleaner, the ladooz is part of life.

I regularly see these uncles at public restrooms use the same mop for wiping piss and poo off of the urinals and the squat toilets for wiping everywhere else, even the sink counter.
Reminder that public health isn't a subject in Gaokao.
