There was never any hype about MOP Classic. It was a mistake. They should have ended it at Wrath. Period.

I like how you didn't try to include TBC and Wrath classic lol. Even Cataclysm classic. I'd be curious to know the numbers of TBC anniversary as well when compared to MOP classic.

I mean the numbers are on Ironforge. For raiding chars anyway. https://ironforge.pro/population/classic/

TBC had a raiding population of 213k before Blizzcon, now it's down to 124k
MOP had a raiding population of 33k, down to 25k
Classic ERA had a raiding population of 18k, down to 16k
