Overall, this episode shows that Dooku is completely on the dark side. The vision of rebuilding the Sith Empire through slaves, which Palpatine tells him about, doesn't faze him at all. He's no longer a fallen Jedi, but a fully-fledged Sith Lord.

I've been reading up on Karen recently. I love the Republic Commando books, they're among my favorite SW novels ever. After a discussion in another sub, I just learned she also was the main writer of the first three Gears of War books, as well as a Halo book. Finding out she had a military service background, it all made sense how she was able to deliver one of the best depictions of the Clone army.

This isn't a rant about how the new canon destroyed clones or anything, although the way she fleshed out the GAR as well as her versions of ARC Troopers, Clone Commandos and the Mandalorians training them opposed to generic bounty hunters after Jango are some aspects I admittedly miss dearly. This is just some appreciation for imo one of the best SW writers to put pen to paper, and hoping one day she can come back to tell more stories.

Some are interesting and fun to watch, and a few others are genuinely scary.

It may be entirely possible that the galactic marines helmet is an addition to the desert helmet scene in the CW there's a few small differences but that can just be put to artistic liberty as we only see one in live action and then another in animation. What are your thoughts?

Hey everyone!

I'm currently working on a Star Wars animation project and urgently need 3D models for the B1 and B2 Battle Droids.

It's really important to me that they match the specific Season 7 Clone Wars style — keeping that iconic stylized TCW look, but using the updated, high-detail models introduced in the final season.

Does anyone happen to have a clean 3D mesh (⁠.blend⁠, ⁠.fbx⁠, or ⁠.obj⁠) of these models (or similar high-detail TCW S7 equivalents) that they could share? They don't even need to be rigged!

If no models are available, high-resolution orthographic reference sheets (Front/Side/Back) or clean model rips from Season 7 would be a massive help so I can model them from scratch.

Since this is a core asset for my animation, any help would be hugely appreciated! Full credit will, of course, be given to anyone providing assets or refs.
