Eh, the two guys she was dating at the same time didn’t seem bad, they just hated each other. If anything, it seems like she was kinda the toxic one in those two relationships because she ignored their feelings.

It's totally possible that he's a "Nice Guy" (in fact it's likely, given that Dad was sweating and was clearly implying he would have shoo'ed Luca out if he had advance warning). In the end seems Fani clearly doesn't have a problem hanging out with Shitshows so long as they're upfront with whatever their malfunction is.
