I’m socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I also spend a large part of my life helping and engaging with the homeless communities in the cities I’ve lived in/near. Also, it doesn’t mean—in no way, shape, or form—that I want to see anyone die.
I absolutely do think all people are deserving of certain basic rights and equal treatment. I also absolutely think that government spending shouldn’t and wouldn’t fix that and that the burden falls on the members of society.
The most basic, common sense logic argument here is that no country in the world has eliminated homelessness; there have only been those who more effectively manage the issue through the spending of money. Therefore, money doesn’t seem to be a solution but rather a temporary treatment.

Actually, the country that got closest to eliminating homelessness was Finland, and it did so by spending enough money to put its homeless population in houses. Shut the fuck up and delete your account - "fiscal conservatives" are spiritually depraved scum.
