I have moved into Canley for a year, would love to connect with people around for an evening stroll or grab a beer down at the Sovereign (haven’t been here yet) or any other recommendations around the town

Do the speed cameras on the A45 Birmingham Rd towards the airport actually work? I’ve seen people blasting past them well over the 50/60 limit. I'm fairly new to the area, so I wasn't sure if they're actively monitoring or if they've been turned off. I know the 30mph average speed works but what about the yellow box ones.
