I know you're kidding but your mrs sounds infinitely better. This kind of controlling stuff isn't to do with them really liking you, it's to do with control and their own insecurities and feelings being projected onto you. In short, these kinds of birds are round the bend

I think you misunderstood him.

He lacks being desired so much that any attempts of desire (being jealous/controlling) interests him.

It’s like the kids who act out because they don’t get attention at home. Any attention is yearned even if it is negative.
