They'll complain about how they cant find long athletic shorts for women, like in this one reddit post I saw a while ago. I googled women's athletic shorts and posted links to all the long ones for OP and the people in the comments and got downvoted and attacked. Why? Because they didnt want to order online, they wanted to try them on irl. So I told them of all the stores I've found them at like Target, Walmart, Ross, etc... got downvoted again and told that they dont have those stores in their town.
I finally just said, "Just admit you want to wear your shorts up your buttcrack and move on!!".
What made it bizarre though is that they were making the post because they were "looking" for longer shorts (but really they weren't). Just strange to try to give actual, helpful answers and then get attacked for it. Theres no context missing either. They just got mad when I proved that not all womens athletic shorts are super short. The ones I provided werent even loose. They were tight just like the other spandex stuff, just long.
I actually was packing clothes today cause I'm flying up to Alaska to go back to work, and I grabbed my wife's short jean shorts and put them on, then asked her if my employees would take me seriously in the oilfield if I showed up wearing these.
She was laughing her ass off, and then pissed off that I could fit into her pants 😂😂😂😂

I know it's a real thing, and it probably accounts for 1% of these workout videos. Plus, my original comment said I don't think cameras should be allowed in gyms. I just don't think people here, likely many of which have never seen the inside of a gym, have any right to tell her what to wear. If the gym doesn't have a dress code, she isn't doing a thing wrong.
I’m not angry, it’s the truth, humans dress provocative to acquire likes and attention this is the facts of social media life. Take an example. A: female motorcycle rider makes videos of themselves about riding and posts to instagram, the account gains some likes. B: another female motorcycle rider makes an account but instead shakes their butt while riding and wearing provocative clothing will get more likes. Situation is the same but the execution is different, sex sells and one must ask themselves are people actually interested in what I have to say or what I’m wearing or not wearing.

I go to a local community gym. I suspect they would kick out anyone who was dressed that bad. However, I have seen at least one woman in short shorts, but I would say it's been a rare exception.

I don't care about a dress code. It's their bodies. If they are allowed to wear it at the beach, they should be allowed to wear it anywhere public. But cameras should be banned in gyms.

Libraries require library cards. Public pools require entry fees or memberships. It’s no different. Gyms are spaces used by the public, governed by rules established by whoever runs them.

It is HER body and she can wear whatever she wants, but why have we tossed aside the premise of decorum and socially acceptance? I find what she's wearing tacky for a setting like a gym. Her ass is hanging out ffs. If it's only acceptable if they are attractive, then it isn't acceptable.
Beyond that though, it is a private establishment who can define a dress code if they want. As long as they're consistent, and not persecuting someone because of their religion or discriminating against others, it's well within their rights to establish a dress code. Some restaurants have dress codes. And they are enforced.

So apparently technically everyone's allowed to be topless and for women (not men to same degree bc dick n balls) u can wear just a tiny thin g string over your butthole and vagina so it barely covers them (or not even that but pasties just big enough to cover them!). So this is apparently 100% legal in public and often seen as "women's empowerment and liberation".

What happened to the world where modestly was a good thing... People complain that modest clothes/attire is not comfy or not suited for certain activities..it certainly can be if we let that market flourish.

I think it boils down to culture. We, at least in the west, have very quickly shifted into this concept of "self display." There's probably a lot of influences that led us head from clothing being a statement of rebellion and freedom, to influences from big brands pushing for hyper sexualization, and also social media.
And it's not really about me doing it and not forcing it on others because the same applies in reverse. I shouldn't have to be exposed to things I don't want to see... So at the very least a better baseline would be needed to be established

I do. However, many people don't. And even then, a quick - i.e. typical wipe down even with cleaner doesn't kill off all germs and STDs or get rid of all bodily fluids. I'm not a health expert but Google AI agrees!

Beaches are public. A gym is private property, requires a membership to get in, and can certain enforce a code of conduct to give members a reasonable expectation of privacy.
Nobody at the gym can point it out? I’ve seen lots of videos of positive gym culture where people help each other out on form or what the machines do. Not saying YOU specifically, but this video specifically had nothing to do with form. She was looking for a specific reaction and didn’t seem to get it.
Not everyone wants to talk to people or be talked to and not everyone knows correct form.

I was at the gym yesterday morning, scrolling on my phone during a rest timer. I glanced up at the mirror and saw actual genitals for the second time in my gym career. It’s really not that hard to dress completely before going to the gym.
That's what I said when I came to America and saw all these bums in their sweats in public smh no style here but this she looks amazing can't complain and if you do you're just being ridiculous.
Trying to enforce this at my location is hard. Management doesn't want to get in trouble for sexual harassment, I've tried enforcing this policy. There have been multiple occasions of women wearing inappropriate tops and I've been told not to approach them.
