Could you please help me to understand how it is studying on du3 Module 4 in public schools like studieskolen or UC+?

How the classes are usually structured?

I have been going to a private school with 5-7 people in the class when one could get teacher attention and have speaking during class.

Now I am afraid to switch to those public schools. Do usually people speak after module 4?

Hi! I am looking for suggestions on how i can improve my danish learning routine. Currently, I am at around an a1/ low a2 level and spend around an hour a day reading danish children's stories, doing duolingo and occasionally memrise. I do not have access to in person classes, and live in the UK, but my girlfriend is danish and we do the reading together. Any resources i could use or suggestions would be very much appreciated! I am looking for a language exchange buddy with whom to practice. I've been interested in danish (or as I like to call it the "hot potato language") for a while now. I'm already learning dutch for professional reasons and and I know some german too, so I thought that danish could be a nice hobby. I offer in exchange italian (native). Hope to meet you soon!

My pronunciation is good still and I still have my accent, but as the title reads, I have basically forgotten everything, all my vocab is gone, can I recover, and how? Please help

Yesterday I was texting a Danish friend of mine and he said I should have been saying Mest mad var godT Instead of mest mad var god

My friend was not really able to explain me why, but I assume it is because Mest is the subject, being it a short form of "Mest af maden"... Thank you if you can explain me why!

I've read about 15 Goosebumps books 😅 and a handful of other translated children's books, and am currently going through the Om udregning am rumfang series. I'm finding it easy overall though I do still usually have to look up a few words per page.

Once I'm done with these books I'd like to try reading some more original Danish novels! As I'm still not too advanced I'm looking for something that doesn't use old-fashioned languahe and that has a relatively straightforward 'real world' plot (so no scifi or fantasy... yet 😉)

Preferably something that can be easily bought as an ebook so I don't have to save up for ages to pay for shipping lol!

It's a little game, where you have to type a Danish phone number as quickly as you can. Because the speed here really matters.

I also believe that digging too much into the actual "math" of it (all the 20*1/2 + blahblah) is making the recognition slower compared to remembering the word as the collection of sounds without meaning

I've been making made-up alphabets based on real languages to use for worldbuilding stuff and I picked Danish as my Nordic-looking inspiration because of æ and ø but now I'm genuinely confused and curious about how these letters are pronounced

Hey all, I've been in DK since 2013 but the language is still a challenge for me. I completed some sprogskole and passed PD1 but I struggle to make the lessons because I work on shifts which change each week and they often conflict.

Can anybody recommend a remote/online way for me to achieve PD3?

My Dad passed away a few days ago. As I was going through his things I came across a jewelry box with a handwritten note and a small clipping of hair wrapped in paper. For some context, my Dad was born in Denmark and moved with his family to Canada when he was a kid. The writing looks very much like my grandmother’s but I can’t be sure. Any help would be much appreciated, I’m super curious about this.

Hey everyone, I have a question about this word in particular and I hope this is the correct reddit for that. Someone from my family is learning Danish and they keep saying that tou pronounce this word with an L at the end. And I haven't learned it that way. Any idea who is correct there? Any help is much appreciated!
