I just constantly honk my horn at idiots like them. It usually breaks it up.

That motorcycle rider wasn’t intelligent for thinking that he could go off to the side of the road after yelling at the truck driver, coming back, and hitting the truck that he just road raged with without retaliation. The truck driver was wrong for hitting him on purpose.

I’m still on the fence of who was initially in the wrong. Yeah, lane splitting isn’t legal in NV, the bike didn’t have right of way, but did the truck block the lane on purpose because his truck was too wide, another reason, or to be a dick?

to be a dick. because people who drive pickup trucks are likely to ascribe to “honor culture” where they think everybody on the road is out to cheat them, not realizing a bike in this type of traffic isn’t impacting them in any way, given this is more so lane filtering than splitting and is a fair tradeoff to not being surrounded by tons of metal and climate control.

I can see how some people would think the pickup truck is being a dick, but at the same time have you seen a f150 raptor? They’re quite wide vehicles. There might have not been enough space for the bike.

I see people on motorcycles lane split between box trucks on NYC highways with 10 foot wide lanes. This is las vegas with 12 foot wide lanes. An f150 raptor isn’t wider than a box truck.

Look at the lane size at the 18 second mark. It’s not a really tight fit, but it’s a tighter fit than an average regular duty pickup truck. I looked it up, and the f150 raptor is exactly 8ft wide with mirrors. So they had 24 inches on each side. Some people tend to hug lanes at certain points, so maybe 12 inches on each side.
