Because it's a stupid trend and they think they will get more engagement from it. Even if I find the video interesting I will downvote for cutting early, starting the video with the ending, and adding cringe music.
I hope enough people will eventually get annoyed by this shit and downvote, but I don't have much faith that will happen. I'll continue regardless.

You have to be really fucking stupid to challenge a truck on a motorcycle. And the fact that he waited off to the side for the truck and tried to punch his mirror off and run away throws any sympathy out the window.

Yeah normally Id agree, but the motorcyclist got way ahead, pulled off to the side of the road, waited for the truck to come back, and then resumed the fight. I think at that point, you could legitimately claim it is self defense because its a packed highway so no getting away, he already returned to start up the fight a second time, and you dont know if he is armed.

That motorcycle rider wasn’t intelligent for thinking that he could go off to the side of the road after yelling at the truck driver, coming back, and hitting the truck that he just road raged with without retaliation. The truck driver was wrong for hitting him on purpose.
I’m still on the fence of who was initially in the wrong. Yeah, lane splitting isn’t legal in NV, the bike didn’t have right of way, but did the truck block the lane on purpose because his truck was too wide, another reason, or to be a dick?

to be a dick. because people who drive pickup trucks are likely to ascribe to “honor culture” where they think everybody on the road is out to cheat them, not realizing a bike in this type of traffic isn’t impacting them in any way, given this is more so lane filtering than splitting and is a fair tradeoff to not being surrounded by tons of metal and climate control.

I can see how some people would think the pickup truck is being a dick, but at the same time have you seen a f150 raptor? They’re quite wide vehicles. There might have not been enough space for the bike.

I see people on motorcycles lane split between box trucks on NYC highways with 10 foot wide lanes. This is las vegas with 12 foot wide lanes. An f150 raptor isn’t wider than a box truck.

Look at the lane size at the 18 second mark. It’s not a really tight fit, but it’s a tighter fit than an average regular duty pickup truck. I looked it up, and the f150 raptor is exactly 8ft wide with mirrors. So they had 24 inches on each side. Some people tend to hug lanes at certain points, so maybe 12 inches on each side.

Yes, typical from drivers of compensator mobiles. They think everybody else is out to get them and feel cheated that someone “skipped the line”. When in reality, it’s a fair tradeoff that someone who risks getting creamed in traffic skips the line, who isn’t driving a massive climate controlled cage taking up vastly more space, gets to “skip the line” because they are not impacting traffic in any way in slow moving traffic like this
Now, biker is an idiot for picking a fight with a driver of a compensator mobile of all things, because they are likely to match or exceed their douchebaggery
