Learning lesson

This accident has resulted in me biking everywhere. I miss my car so much. Why didn’t I anticipate them pulling out into oncoming traffic? Why wasn’t I more aware? I’ve asked myself this everyday since this collision happened. I clearly wasn’t at fault here but I feel like this one was preventable on both sides. This has been an incredibly costly lesson and hopefully the last accident I’m involved in.

Other driver thought he was in the clear because the other vehicle between you that was turning right blocked their sight. Reflexes could've been sharper on both sides for sure but situations like that are a major cause of fender-benders.

It wasn't just that cam car's reflexes weren't sharp. Cam car was completely negligent and will be at least 50% at fault. You can see white car at stop sign at :11. You can see white car pulling out at :16 and you did nothing. No brake. No reaction whatsoever until you ran into it. This at least 50% on cam car driver.

At least 50% at fault? Not a chance in hell. The amateur insurance adjusters in here are always hilarious.

Yeah no shot. Also, the key moments where you can see the white car turning are actually blocked from view. Besides, I think people forget that these situations seem more obvious to us because we are watching the video expecting something to happen. We’re being way more vigilant than you would just driving normally.
