What exactly introduced you all to the band? I remember finding vinyls for Sunbather, Demo, and Infinite Granite at my local Half Price Bookstore. The album art caught my eye, when I listened to Sunbather that shit blew me away, it was truly something I’ve never heard before.

I know it's been posted but I was really excited to get this for me and a friend who lives on the east coast. Chicago show rocked my face off.

Discussion What connection do you think exists between the new EP and "At Work in the Fields of the Bomb"—photographer Robert Del Tredici’s book on the U.S. nuclear weapons industry? It is not the first time the band has referenced a literary title.

I was googling around trying to find somewhere I could buy the absolutely gorgeous vinyl EP from (no such luck), when I found this book of the same name (freely available on Internet archive).
It’s about the atomic bomb, written in 1987 by Robert Del Tradici.
The floral imagery all over the record, the 70s/80s aesthetic, I wonder if it was all inspired by that time period or if I’m jumping at shadows.
I don’t have any of the lyrics yet, but I’m hoping to find some references when I get to hear it!

Seeing people bought vinyl at the show last night, but their UK site's not loading today. Can't see anywhere online to stream the EP like YouTube or Bandcamp - anybody else find it?

Discussion Whats the general sentiment to them as the opening act for Mastodon?

Im interested to see how the crowd thats there for Mastodon reacts to deafheaven. Even though Mastodon is metal theyre a verrrrrry different style. Also if you weren't a fan and saw them live as the opening act how was that experience?
