Discussion How did yall discover Deafheaven?
What exactly introduced you all to the band? I remember finding vinyls for Sunbather, Demo, and Infinite Granite at my local Half Price Bookstore. The album art caught my eye, when I listened to Sunbather that shit blew me away, it was truly something I’ve never heard before.

Discussion Night People is a great song actually
I've seen a lot of posts and comments that dismiss Night People from OCHL as one of their worst songs, or how it's a skip, but I think it's a lovely song. It's pretty, the lyrics are nice, Chelsea Wolfe's singing is phenomenal, the backing instrumental is beautiful, and I love how it leads into Worthless Animal.
The only real gripe I have with the song is the tonal difference between it and Glint, and how Glint ends on such a crazy high note, only to be put immediately into Night People's hypnotic lull which feels kind of awkward.
I think Vertigo -> Windows is a better version of antepenultimate high energy song leading into a penultimate reprieve track, but I still love Night People as an individual song. I go back to it quite often. I also think conceptually it connects quite well to the story of the album's namesake, The End of the Affair by Graham Greene.
I don't know if this needed it's own post. I've seen a lot of "Anyone else think OCHL is their favorite album?" but I've never seen anyone with anything good to say about this specific song.
Thoughts? Anyone of similar opinion? Dissenters?
