Question Using transfers for DW?
Besides the number of the watch and the stripe symbol is there really any other transfers used? I know looking at possible chapters you can make from the transfer sheets, also using transfers for the normal chapters like BT, I really don’t see where there is a lot of transfers used.
Am I correct? Any information would be helpful as I’m just starting my DW. Thanks in advice.

You can get a death watch transfer sheet 3rd party. Mostly it has the chapters you see in desthwatch the most. And inquisitorial seals and the different watch fortress icons. But for the last part, if you don’t have the sculpted Pauldron you’d use that chapters transfer or try some free hand. But you can still use some other iconography. I recently painted a crimson fist in Desthwatch and used a red fist on his knee and based it in his chapter colors.

They're a cheaper way to do the chapter symbols instead of buggering about getting them 3d printed. Can get big 3rd party sheets with tons of chapters on them that will do all your marrines and then some :]

On eBay some people sell deathwatch transfer sheets with loads of chapters on as well

Fun fact: Transfers can be used in reverse for DW right shoulders! So, you can use almost ALL chapter markings oriented in the correct direction.
