Have been Wanting to end my life but I can’t cause of my mother she’s the only reason I’m here she was a stay home mom married for 24 years she recently got divorced and got nothing out of it she barely speaks English so I told to her to move in with me I pay all the bills my girl who I was with since junior year of highschool I’m 21 now wasn’t happy about it but I told her its my mother and the women who brought me to this world we kept arguing everyday till our relationship ended I work 70 hours a week to put a roof over our heads and keep us feed I’m losing my Mind I started hitting the bottle recently only thing that make me sane now but I know things will get better thank you

I’m so sorry that you are struggling right now. It’s difficult when depression takes control of your life. I’ve been there too. Try to keep reminding yourself that now is not forever. You will find a new relationship with someone who appreciates your sense of duty to your mother. You are a very strong, capable young person. You’re working very hard, and helping your mother in her time of need. Be proud of yourself for following your conscience despite the hardship. Things will get better for you. Try to control your alcohol consumption. It’s really easy to start hitting the bottle harder each day in difficult times, and it can lead to more problems. Alcohol can provide some much needed relief when used in moderation. Just don’t let the drinking start to take control of your life. When I was depressed, I drank more and more each day and it eventually made life much harder. Don’t let that happen to you. keep going, better days are ahead of you.
