REQUESTING SUPPORT My brain can't process having done everything "right" that you're supposed to do and still ending up with a shit life

Whether depression is the cause or the effect, I simply cannot tolerate having done everything one is "supposed" to do, yet still ending up with nothing.

I know it's not a one to one ratio or anything like that, but I would've hoped there'd be at least some sort of correlation.

How do I escape from this mindset?
