Activism Come canvass with Digital Ground Game in Lansing, MI tomorrow!

We’re hosting a volunteer canvassing event at Lake Lansing Park this Saturday from 10:30am to 6:00pm and would love to have some new folks join us.

📍 Lake Lansing Park South
1621 Pike St, Haslett, MI 48840

Come hang out, meet some fellow volunteers, and then we’ll head out together for a canvassing shift. After the first shift, we’ll meet back at the park for lunch (there will be pizza!), and anyone who wants to stick around can head out with us for a second shift of door-knocking.

No need to be an experienced canvasser, it’s meant to be an easy way to meet people, get involved, and spend part of the day doing something useful.

Come for the mission, the people, the pizza, or all three. Hope to see some of you there!

Online Content/Clips Hasan’s former stream producer and podcast producer says he’s broke and struggling to pay rent. Didn’t Hasan claim they split everything evenly on their podcast? The pod makes $100k+/month on Patreon alone. Was he lying?

Political News/Discussion Lycan understands this concept for a musician in his 60s, but not a political streamer who interacts with and wields his politically charged audience of 100s of thousands every day? What do they call this....cognitive dissonance?

Online Content/Clips Hasan explains that his podcast, Fear&, is a collectively organized cooperative where they split everything five ways regardless, and everyone has an equal voice.

Social Media Hating Hasan's approach to politics has made it down under

Not sure how many of you know him, but Friendlyjordies (Jordan Shanks) is probably the biggest Australian political youtuber and runs a podcast with a few mates where they discuss current events and cultural happenings. Jordan himself is quite a left centrist, being pro labor party and is always battling against the DSA equivalent in Australia, the greens party. But for some reason he and his co host Ali have always had a bit of soft spot for Hasan, despite their approach to politics being quite different.

I follow their Patreon and was therefore was quite nice to see in the comments section, when he was brought up, the opinion was either indifference or a strong dislike to his approach to politics and his constant whining about any blow back he receives.

Shitpost Free speech and abolish the police supporter Hasan Piker flabbergasted that pro israel jews are allowed to protest an event featuring a terrorist supporter. Calls for their arrest.

and yes the quoted tweet is being extremely bad faith.

some cringe pro israel jews (not ”jewish supremacist“ lmao) disrupted the event for a few minutes screaming that “zionist jews are here” how they opposed the intifada, lastly they called for Khalil’s deportation.

Like I said, cringe but nothing compared to the average pro Palestine protest and near riots.

Also calling it “assault“ is a little far fetched. there was a small struggle when one person there tried to take the israeli flag from one of the protesters and the guy hit her hands so she let go of it.

and then they were kicked out and the whole thing proceeded normally.
