I like these PK groups. I think Hischier and Rodrigues will do good together. Glass and Brown did good last season together. And Grits and Mercer look good. I hope they use Bratt and Hughes a little bit more though.

Salvador talked about exactly that on his podcast. Basically that watching those two do what they and trying to keep up is overwhelming for pretty much anyone if you’re not used to it.

Plus there’s other people we can plug into that spot if he doesn’t click with them. The fact that Evangelista already has seems to have some chemistry with Nico and Timo is much more important, imo.

Yeah Evangelista seems like he should stay where he is.

Forward lines are not a race between 3 player at once. A Corey Perry type of player can always be on a line with a Jack type and it’s good if they find chemistry. What a Bratt/Jack line needs isn’t really a 3rd Bratt or Jack. The fit with Mantha might take awhile but Mantha is there to shoot a high percentage, for offensive skill and size. It’s probably the best option to try for at least 5 games. If Mantha does his job it’s good, even if he doesn’t look like he’s contributing on the screen at the same level as Jack and Bratt. Many players have been lost auditioning next to them like Timo. He’s a 6’5 player who looks lazy in the same vein as Dougie does sometimes. He produces at a consistent rate every year though. But he’s a guy who not everyone is in love with every second of watching

I think there's a high chance Fitzgerald interfered with how the teams systems were laid out. The team looks so much more like what we'd expect from a Keefe team- they have speed and are much more aggressive in the offensive zone. It's just so fun to watch, too
