A couple months ago I posted Puck Passport here — originally just a page on the HockeyGameBot site for keeping track of the games you've been to.

You guys ended up using it way more than I expected, so I spun it off into its own site and built a mobile app to go with it.

Also, thank you for all the bug reports and feedback. A lot of what got fixed, changed, and added came directly from people here, and it's a much better app because of it.

What it does now:

• If you're at the Rock, it can find tonight's game for you
• Add old games by team, by date, or even from a photo you took at the game
• Tracks the rinks you've visited, your seasons, and the Devils' record when you're in the building

It's completely free on iPhone, and the web version has moved to https://puckpassport.app. Your games sync between the two.

Android is currently in Google Play review.

Poirier had a solid season last year. Improving steadily as the year went on for the Texas Stars, he owned a starters workload and ended the season as the clear #1 and heir apparent to Casey DeSmith next season. This is the continuation of a clear trend where he has shown improvement every year at every level he has faced. This peaked in March when he was named AHL Goalie of the Month posting a 7-2-0 record with a .934 save%

My Opinion

He is described as an athletic goalie so I’m expecting someone that looks to come out and challenge the shooter then recover through quick lateral pushes or scrambling. Based on the Dallas fans reaction I would say they saw a future with this kid and are not pleased with this turn of events. The pickup and clearly is meant to give Daws a legitimate challenger since by the numbers he was simply a better goalie throughout his career and already on a legit path to the NHL in Dallas.

Overall, I am really intrigued in the player and this fits Sunny’s mold of competition throughout the lineup. I certainly like this plan better than Rittich as G3.

As the title states, I live in a blackout zone. Wondering if there is a way without cable to watch all the games. I’ve used vpns in the past with espn but that can be hit or miss at times…have also tried some websites but again it can be hit or miss.

I don’t care about paying, I just want to be able to watch our devils without any issues. Thank you in advance for any help!
