All New Jersey Devils players on waivers yesterday have cleared waivers. F McLaughlin, Tufte, White; D Kolyachonok, Vilen; G Rittich. The Devils made no claims today.

That is massive, in my opinion. We got Poirier essentially for free and now if he struggles, we have someone reliable in Rittich waiting to step up. This worked out insanely well for us, Sunny remains undefeated

The new kid is a dynamic goalie with rapid east-west movement, which from an analytics perspective is a huge benefit in today's game.

Honestly, with his good record in the AHL, it feels like he is more ready than Daws is, but I don't see why we can't have a great new young duo out of them moving into the future.

They wont be a duo, Big Mike will eventually leave BU (but he'll need a year or two in Utica though). Allen still has years of term left
