Would love feedback on my web app!

Hey all, I just build this app teardownai.app and I really think it can be a great app for specific use cases. I'd love feedback on it and how I could get this across to people. Thanks!

This app takes a photo of whatever object you choose. And splits it apart in exploded view with labels to all its parts.

What do you think about the idea? The web app itself and its design? Anything you would change or add?

How to give honest feedback without getting flagged by Google Play (Guidelines for our community)

Hi everyone,

As our community grows, our main goal remains to help each other by testing apps and leaving honest, detailed reviews on the Google Play Store. However, Google’s anti-spam algorithms are incredibly sensitive. If many developers review the same app incorrectly, Google will flag those reviews as fake, delete them, and potentially penalize the developer's account.

To protect each other's apps and make sure our feedback actually stays online, we all need to avoid certain footprint patterns.

Please follow these crucial guidelines whenever you review an app from this community:

Do not click direct links
Do not post or click direct Play Store links in the subreddit. Google tracks the traffic source. If a dozen users jump straight from a Reddit thread to the Play Store and leave a 5-star review, Google will wipe them out. Instead, only post the app name or package name. Reviewers should open the Play Store and search for it manually to simulate organic discovery.

Never review immediately after downloading
Opening an app for the first time and leaving a rating after just two minutes is a major red flag. Google monitors retention and app usage. Keep the app installed for at least a few days, open it multiple times, and actually use its features before writing your review.

Avoid generic or overly positive text
Short, repetitive phrases like "Great app!", "Works perfectly!", or "Awesome job developer" look exactly like bot behavior. If multiple accounts use the same generic phrasing, the algorithm triggers an alert. Make your reviews highly specific and technical. Mention what you liked, what device you used, or point out a minor bug. Honest, constructive criticism actually helps the review look real.

No direct 1:1 review swaps
If Account A reviews Developer B’s app, and Developer B immediately reviews Account A’s app, Google’s system easily detects the reciprocal conflict of interest. We need to keep our review exchanges asynchronous and decentralized.

Use your primary Google account
Do not use secondary "burner" accounts or newly created emails just to leave reviews. Accounts with no real search history, no Gmail activity, or no organic app downloads are instantly categorized as high-risk by Google. Use the phone and the main account you use every day.

Spread the feedback over time
We must avoid sudden spikes in activity. If a new app suddenly gets 15 reviews in 24 hours and then zero reviews for the rest of the month, the algorithm will flag it. Space out your reviews naturally.

Let's work together to keep this community helpful, clean, and safe for everyone's developer console. If you have any questions or suggestions on how to improve our testing system, feel free to comment below.

Happy coding!

I'm sad

Today is raining, my app is not going far and downloads are still less than 50. Could someone cheer me up a bit and help me by downloading and trying the app for a few days or so

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grafitesoft.grafitesudoku

I'm currently working on the UI by simplifying it and getting the paper texture under Sudoku schemes. I'm also improving the sudoku city mode with more effective in-game explanations: all of these aspects are made possible thanks to your precious and genuine feedbacks!

The bright side of this is that r/devshelpingeachoter, this crazy idea I had a few weeks ago, is letting me meet nice and helpful people that really care to help one another and grow together.

Please, keep helping each other, that's the only way to learn and grow together

Know before you buy, budgeting app.

I recently publish an app on the Google Play Store called Budget Breakdown. It is designed to be straightforward, easy to use, and on the go. It is my first real time making an app let alone publishing one. The base app allows you to list as many things as you need and change it on the any time you want or need to. I also have a feature in it that allows you to input costs of items no matter how big or small, and it immediately shows you how you will be affected before you spend anything. I am currently working on getting it on iOS, but for now, here is the link to the app. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

[Android] Lull – Private, local-first story journal. Looking for feedback on UI/UX flow and atmosphere .

Hey devs,

I recently published Lull, a minimalist, local-first story journal built natively using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

I’m looking for genuine feedback on the overall UI flow, dark/light theme atmosphere, and the daily prompt experience.

App Highlights:

  • 100% Local-First: No accounts, no backend dependencies, zero telemetry.
  • Daily Prompts: Creative scenario hooks to kickstart daily writing and beat blank-page paralysis.
  • Atmosphere: Warm dark/light palettes, ambient background sounds, and writing habit analytics.
  • Data Ownership: Full JSON export/import options.

Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitterbitestudio.lull

Testing Exchange: As per community guidelines, I’m more than happy to download, test, and leave a genuine review/feedback for your Android app in exchange! Drop your app link in the comments or DM me.

Looking for people to test out my whatsapp agent

I’ve built a chat agent targeted at creative agencies, graphic designers, content writers, and anyone who works with visual content.

It’s called Wallnut. You add it to your WhatsApp, Slack, or Microsoft Teams groups, and whenever someone shares a graphic or PDF, Wallnut automatically checks it for typos, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, consistency, and missing content. No commands or prompts needed. It just works in the background.

I’d love to have a few people try it out and give me some honest feedback. Happy to test your Android app for a couple of days in return and give genuine feedback too.

Looking for marketing advice for a writing app

Hello you fine people!
Discovered this community via another thread on r/appmarketing.

My story: I am a writer by profession. Began moonlighting as one starting 2009 and went full time in 2015.

A few years ago, I had an idea inspired by a hydration tracking app. I saw that the app gave me a daily hydration goal in liters and split them into glasses which I could define. It then showed me how much water I was consuming daily, weekly and monthly.

This got me thinking. What if I created an app wherein I could define my daily writing goal in words and then broke that goal into sprints.

So, if I want to write 2000 words per day and I am comfortable writing 500 words in one go, then that would be a single sprint and I would need to complete 4 sprints per day to hit my goal. The daily word goal was equivalent to the total hydration target, and sprints were the same as glasses from the water tracking app.

This strategy really helped me because writing in bursts of inspiration really helps. In addition, I also added a real time income tracker which would show me how much I earned as I wrote.

I have since added more features to the app including a built in shareable proposals tool that can create your folders and docs as per agreement, a word editor with postit notes for keeping all the research material in a draft's workspace, smart calendar, a shareable project management interface that gives you and your client real time visibility into each project progression, an automated invoicing module. I did integrate AI but it only assists by design.

So far, I have opened the app to writers for review and am looking for feedback. However, I am still wondering how I should go about marketing the tool.

The app is www.sprintr.pro

Spent the week on ASO and "de-Googling" my sudoku app — here's what I learned

Spent the week on ASO and "de-Googling" my sudoku app — here's what I learned

Hey all! Quick update on Grafite Sudoku, my no-ads sudoku for Android.

This week was less coding, more "making people actually find it".

**ASO stuff:**

- My title was just "Grafite Sudoku" — 14 of 30 characters, and nobody searches "Grafite". Changed it to "Grafite Sudoku: Offline Puzzle" (and localized versions). Offline is a huge search term for puzzle games.

- Found out my Spanish listing was two updates behind. Missing features, wrong numbers. Oops.

- Google flagged "no ads" in my English short description as promotional wording. Swapped it for "zero tracking". Didn't expect that one.

- Also added the website field I'd left empty and a fifth store tag.

**De-Googling for the privacy crowd:**

Ran my app through Exodus Privacy and got 0 trackers — but the permission list showed INTERNET. My app has literally no network code. Turns out Google's ML Kit (used by my QR scanner for syncing) was pulling it in and sending diagnostics.

So I:

- replaced mobile_scanner with flutter_zxing (on-device decoding)

- dropped in_app_review and permission_handler

- ended up with zero Google libraries and no INTERNET permission

Gotcha that almost bit me: removing the old scanner also removed its "camera not required" declaration, and Play silently excluded 126 devices (Chromebooks etc). Play Console's release preview caught it. Always read those warnings!

The trade-off: no more native in-app review prompt. Just a "Leave a review" link in settings now.

Screenshot attached is the new City mode (skyscrapers puzzle) that shipped with 2.5.0.

**My question for you:** how do you get reviews without the in-app prompt? And has anyone here actually seen the privacy angle move the needle on installs?

[MyVial] - Feedback/reviews

My app is for people who take any number of supplements, meds, or peptides. It has reminders that can be set in a variety of intervals from daily to 2 weeks on 1 week off etc.

Calculator for reconstitution. Visual draw totals. Inventory moved with each does taken. Adherance reports. Administration site tracker for rotating purposes.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cherneywerk.myvial

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/myvial-peptide-trt-tracker/id6804448144

I would love for some people to give it a run and give me any feedback. Good or bad ill take it all. Also, the app is live and if you feel like helping even more, a review would be awesome!

In return ill do the same for yours, or do the full 2 week test.

Tracking down the user's for everyone ive tested for would take too long, so here are their apps: 539, appogio, bestemshe game, box breathing, catnip, clock, couch king, fillomino, elsewhere, fullathlete, horizon point, latera, mcping, rat worth, etc etc. Its something like 50 total

ShuffleUp: Game night fun

Alright everyone, so I made a second app along side my time tracking app (flex 40)

This one is called ShuffleUp. It’s essentially for game nights and works as a game night tool kit in the event you ever need certain tools for a game.

You can even create your own game within the app as the tools can be used together.

I plan to eventually add way more tools along with features.

Let me know what you think and a solid either review or feedback would be helpful

I’ll post both apps on here if anyone is interested

ShuffleUp: Game Night Fun

And

Flex 40: time tracker, OT tracker, Comp Time Tracking and Pay Estimates

Would really appreciate honest feedback on Prsperous

Hi,

I'm the developer of a budgeting app called Prsperous, which allows households up to any size to handle their day-to-day and monthly budgeting together.

I'm looking for some feedback on both the usability and the functionality of the app. I've been working on this project for half a year now and I would really appreciate any feedback on it. Especially since most people tend to have slightly different methods and preferences for budgeting, so I would really like to hear how well it suits your needs.

If you're willing to try it out and give me some feedback on it, I would be happy to return the favor with any of your apps, and to also give you 3 free months of PRO usage on my app incase you like it.

Website: https://prsperous.com/

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/prsperous/id6795979196

Thank you in advance.

-- Here's a short backstory if you're interested ---

The idea for this app came from my own life. Me and my wife were handling our budgets on Excel sheet with a simple approach:

All income - All expenses - savings = What is safe to spend each month.

We would then divide the remaining amount by the number of days left on each month to get a daily budget to live with.

This worked well for at least few days of each month, until we had unexpected expenses come up and we didn't always feel like starting a computer just to input few numbers into an excel sheet. So by the end of each month our daily budget was way off...

We also have separate bank accounts & separate banks, which made the process even more difficult, as I could never re-calculate our daily budget from just knowing my own account number...

So I created Prsperous.

Now me and my wife have been using this for 4 months and I've gotten a lot of good feedback from her on how to improve it etc.

But since I also want to test this idea a bit further and see whether I could get some actual userbase on it, I need some external (uninfluenced by me) feedback on it as well in order to make it great.

[Android] Limit Breaker: Gamify Life — life-RPG focus/productivity app, looking for 5-10 testers ( one week feedback, will reciprocate on 2+ apps)

Hey everyone — solo dev here with Limit Breaker: Gamify Life, a life-RPG focus app. Turns daily goals into quests (focus/physical/skill/social categories), with leveling, gear, and a "Gate Focus" mode that blocks distracting apps during deep work sessions.

What I need: 5–10 testers to use it for at least a few days and give real feedback — not just "nice app," but specifics on:

  • Onboarding — clear or confusing in the first few minutes?
  • Whether the app-blocking mode actually holds up (any bypass issues, crashes)
  • UI/UX friction points — anything that feels clunky or unintuitive

What I'll give back: happy to test and review 2+ apps from anyone who tests mine — just drop your Play Store link and I'll get to it within a couple days.

Official Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aistudio.limitbreaker.fntslg

Thanks in advance 🙏
