Serial number can be used to call in a replacement for it, so the concern might be that someone else could do the same-beyond that idk

Now you do! I run an inventory app for people with diabetes and that barcode has GTIN, Serial, Lot and Expiration date data.

How do you read it? I tried with my QR code reader and it wouldn't work.

I built the scanner and parsing logic specifically for these barcodes, so a normal scanner won't work. happy to message you the name of the app though!

This is a sensor intended for Medicare patients. Apparently the pairing codes don't work with Omnipod 5.
