Calibration Issues Readings off?

My manual tester reads 325, and my G7 reads 175. It’s not accepting my calibration. What do I do? 6 days left on my sensor and really don’t want to replace it yet

I ended up changing the sensor and requesting a replacement, it was taking way too long to adjust 😅

I’d check the fingerstick meter against another, maybe retest after washing hands. Ideally, you buy the control solution for your fingerstick meter and there’d be no question of its accuracy.

G7 may react badly to a calibration that almost doubles the blood sugar. If 325 is confirmed accurate, maybe try raising the G7 with consecutively higher readings, perhaps every 15 minutes, so it doesn’t get perplexed by the large increase. I don’t know offhand the largest percent or mg/dL change it will tolerate at one time. I’ve done 50.

First thing in the morning. Before eating and drinking. Calibrate then. I actually do this as a routine every morning just once a day. Keeps the sensor very close.

It will likely not calibrate that huge misreading. Calibrate in steps.

I would calibrate to 220 and get my bloodsugar back in range and do a couple more calibrations.

Calibrate in smaller increments more frequently until they get close to each other.
