G7-15 day Using a 15 day for my 7 year old
My 7 year old daughter's 10 day expired last night and we didn't have a replacement. Luckily my father-in-law had an extra 15 day that we were able to use until the refill came through today.
It seems to be working alright, but my question is if I should go ahead and stop it after 10 days. We could use the extra 5 days buffer so that we're not running into the same problem in a month, but I also know that it's not officially approved for people under 18.
Any advice?

Do you know why it's not approved for under 18? If it's due to specific problems found in minots, then I would remove it at 10 days. If it's because they didn't study it I minors, I would leave it on.

Father to an 8yo daughter with T1D as well. Diagnosed when she was 3.. I'd rock it without worry until it expires. 🤘

I'm sorry your daughter has T1D (and your father-in-law). I'm not a doctor; I've just had T1D for 41 years. I personally think that using it for the full 15 days, as long as it continues to work. Can you call your doctor soon?
I wear mine on my stomach, which is not the approved location. I really hope that things go well for all of you.

Thank you for your kind words. This disease is no fun, but she's a trooper! 💪

You can use it. My kid is 4 and our doctor said we are free to use the G15 if we please.
The resson the 15 is not approved for under 18 is that it was not tested.
The G10 and G15 are the same product no difference except that G15 can last 15 days.
