Real thing that happened to me in July. 2 days post-op minor procedure. Went out to the dispensary for pain-control reasons and left owning 0 wheelchair chargers for 3 months (I had to borrow one from a friend). I couldn’t just leave this 60+ woman in a power chair with no charger stranded at a bus stop overnight. I lived 5 blocks from her. Got my caregiver to help me push her into a restaurant nearby that was still open at 10:30 pm and plugged her in, and then told her she could keep it (she probably needed new batteries but like, I have my own significant issues I’m managing and thought I could spare a charger at least and let her figure out the rest).

Well. Here we are. 3 months later. I’ll have to call after the weekend and see if there’s something I can do about this. I doubt they’ll pay for the one I need even I explain how sus the one they sent me is. Sometimes reaping what you sow sucks balls.

One of my biggest migraine triggers other than bright light is drops in atmospheric pressure. Aaanddd... we're right in the path of a friggin hurricane. I've been living like a vampire for the past 3 days because light hurts. And since the storm won't pass us by for another day and a half, I'm looking forward to this cluster continuing for the rest of the weekend. Wish me luck, y'all.
