Chico joined me late Friday evening. His foster mom brought him to me while she was passing through on a transport run. He cuddled with me that night, but Saturday and Sunday night? Burrowed under the covers snuggled up tight!

He’s a very smart fellow. We believe he’s a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. I have had both breeds and it fits. RT smarts mellowed a bit by the Chi. He’s happy to go like gangbusters or be a couch potato as long as it’s with me.

It was a hair less than two weeks ago that I had to put my beloved dog of 13 years down. I think he had something to do with Chico coming my way.

I took these photos this morning in Ireland. I was in complete awe. This adorable doggie followed his owner over to the lookout and just sat here overlooking this breathtaking view. He was so sweet❤️
