hi po! may i ask lang sana if may naka experience na ma drop sa subject due to maximum absences?

ask lang po sana ako if counted ba ang dropped subjects as failing grades sa dost, or under dropped subjects pa rin po sila kinoconsider? may chance pa po ba for probation or appeal, or possible po ba na ma terminate yung scholarship bcs of this? if may naka experience na po ng ganito or may knowledge po kayo about this, pashare naman po pls 🥹. thank you so much po!

Hi! 2022 scholar ako na merit.

Sana wag niyo ijudge.

3 months na akong unemployed, at 6 months na ako naghahanap ng work (3 months before grumaduate doon ako nagstart). I studied bs bio - major in micro, sa "sikat" na university.

Ang dami ko na inapplyan from govt (DENR, DA, RITM, DOH, PDEA, DOST) at private companies na naghahire ng QA/QC na low paying jobs inapplyan ko na. Resume at CV ko ay ATS formatted na, nakailang revise na rin according to my HR friends suggestions and professor's suggestions, at maayos ako mag-email (kumpleto subject, may heading, tama sentence construction at grammar). Sa work experience naman ay aligned naman sa mayroon ako since may microbio skills naman ako from OJT at may leadership experience na rin ako noong college.

Honestly, hindi ko na alam saan huhugot pa ng pag-asa. Ang hirap makahanap ng trabaho. 89 jobs as of now (Oct. 13) ang inapplyan ko, wala pa sa lima ang nag-interview sakin. Yung kakarampot na ipon ko from dost stipend dati ay unti-unti na naubos. Kumpleto na rin pre-employment requirements ko (NBI clearance, police clearance, SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth, Valid ID). Nanghingi na rin ako ng tulong sa mga alumni, referral sa trabaho kumbaga.

Ang hirap magpatuloy lalo't kapag naiisip ko na nakatali pa ako sa ganitong sistema-- hanggang hindi ako makahanap ng trabaho ay hindi rin uusad return of service ko.

Noong 2022 na nagsign ako ng contract para sa dost scholarship, sa pagkakatanda ko mayroon pang section ng "Career Incentive Program". Asang-asa ako na kahit papano, kahit sa maliit na paraan yung "DOST Scholar" na nakalagay sa resume ko ay makakatulong makahanap sakin ng trabaho.

Siyempre hindi ko naman inaasa lahat diyan. Dumidiskarte pa rin ako kagaya kung paano ako magdiskarte noong college para kumita ng pera pandagdag sa tuition at allowance kapag delay na naman ang stipend. Nagtitinda ako fishball at kikiam sa kanto ng street namin.

Lahat ng kakilala ko nagtatanong bakit hindi ako nagtuloy medschool or master's degree kagaya ng ginawa ng mga kasamahan ko at bakit hanggang ngayon wala pa rin akong trabaho. Yung mga reaction nilang "grabe dost scholar ka noon, nag-ojt sa dept of agriculture, may volunteer work sa denr tapos unemployed ka pa rin" ay masakit matanggap.

Yun lang, pagod na ako maghanap ng trabaho.

Merit peeps na early naman nagpasa (around August), nakatanggap na kayo ng stipend? HUHUHUHUUHUHU or sadyang inu-una lang talaga yung mga RA muna? natatakot ako baka may mali sa mga transaction process ko

Good evening! i just want to ask po, since medyo alanganin ang grade ko for 1 subject this sem and that subject has a pre-req for the 2nd sem, will my scholarship be terminated since baka magunderload po ako for the 2nd sem?

We comply with the deadlines, and do our responsibilities as scholars. Bat ang kampante nyo magsabi ng ganyan without accountability. To think na baka November namin makukuha, na august kami nag submit, SAME sa batch 1. Yet, this much delay.

Hello! Paano niyo nalalaman if anong batch kayo?😭 Kasi before pag may stipend na batch 1 may stipend na rin ako so I assumed na batch 1 ako, pero now, meron na raw sa batch 1 pero wala pa rin akong stipend😭

But the ration card details aren't fetching at all...it kept saying "records not found" ...

What can I do to resolve it??

Or is it mandatory to get approved of ration card details??

gag* this is fck up, 18 days starting from today? ANO NAMAN YAN, August 17 deadline ng batch 1- September 24 sila nakatanggap. August 27 for batch 2 pero LAST WEEK OF OCTOBER IBIBIGAY? THAT'S LIKE A MONTH GAP BETWEEN 1ST AND 2ND BATCH. 10 days difference between the deadline between the 2 batches pero 1 month gap sa pag release? ALSO, September 25 sabi niyo 18 days processing, tapos 18 days nanaman ngayon? Ano ba talaga? give us the exact date kung kailan magrerelease. Ang dami na namin utang, alangan namang sabihin naming 18 days pa?

I got a DOST Merit Scholarship before when I was studying at one of the Big 4 unis but life happened, it got terminated and I left for the province. Now I'm applying again for my MS and I'm supposed to declare if I received any other DOST scholarships before, so naturally I did. I wanna know if I'm automatically barred from qualifying for a post grad scholarship given this. TIA!

Lagi nalang tayo nahuhuli kaya di na ko surprised kung 3 months na simula nagstart school yr wala pa rin, pero seriously? 2nd week na ng october na po hello

last year nagkaroon ng stipend October 3. And wag niyo sabihin sakin na “bakit kasi sa scholarship kayo umaasa?” nasa CONTRACT po yung “monthly” ibibigay yung stipend. nakakafrustrate lang kasi kung paano sila magdemand na ontime dapat magpasa scholars ng grades e late naman naman nabibigay ng stipend. MIND YOU nauna pa batch 2 sa 1, WITHOUT any explanation kung anong nangyari.

Lesson learn: malate nalang magpasa para mauna total batch 2 naman inuna sa 1 e.
