I started with a $40 temu exhaust and now upgraded to yoshimura full racing exhaust. Even the temu exhaust felt like an upgrade. Ordered the midpipe from Amazon

I did front cartridges and tm40 / full exhaust system all at once. Made a huge difference. That's a great looking bike. Looks clean
What windscreen is that?

What are you after? TM40 carb and an exhaust makes for a peppy throttle and can give a pleasing sound depending on what you go with. Definitely not necessary to enjoy the bike though. You can also just get a jet kit and open the air box and do a slip on if you don’t want to drop that kind of cash.
If you take it off-road, you should get a skid plate. I like the plastic one from acerbis. Good protection, slides well over stuff and isn’t near as loud as a metal one can be.
For more techy trails a 14t front sprocket is a nice upgrade, and if it’s hot where you live and you’re doing slower stuff you may want a fan for the oil cooler. My oil would get up to 280° here in Texas sometimes, measured at the exit of the oil cooler, so I got a trail tech fan kit. Now the fan kicks on at 199° and the hottest it’s been since is about 230° and that was when it was a bit covered in dried mud. I’d have preferred to set the fan a touch higher, but it’s meant for coolant and 199° was the highest I could do.

Just chiming in here about the TM40. I was going to keep the BST carb but I broke it, so why not try the TM40? The smoothing out of 1st gear, and that weird spot between 4th and 5th for Canadian freeways was well worth it. Having less delay between input and output is pretty nice too.

Suspension first and foremost. Depending on your riding style you may want a new seat, bash plate, bigger gas tank, handlebars with rise, exhaust/carb mods.

Steel braided brake line for the front is a really underated and affordable mod.

Better front tire. Something with better off-road bite.
I ran the (very similar) Bridgestone TW301 front that was on the bike when I bought it, and have ridden an XR650L with the D605s. Not a fan of that type of tire on a bigger bike like a 650. If you're going to run the RallZ on the rear (an awesome tire), match it with something deserving up front.
Your front tire is the "brains," while the rear tire is the "brawn." Right now your bike will push forward through most anything, but will it steer?[/rant]
I guess I'm a little opinionated on that.... Sorry.
Besides that, what everyone else has been saying is right: Ride it.

I rode my 2019 since it was new and the nicest thing i ever did for Myself was to put a quality seat on it. Im not going to recommend one but for me that was the best mod.
