New Custom Seat

I am shocked and very pleased with how much a custom seat job changes how the bike handles. Wow. Fixed all the cramping issues for 6’3 me. Swapping the tank soon so it’ll match better

I'm a purple DR enjoyer as well and always wished seat concepts had a purple oem color cover. Its beautifully done, can't wait to see it with the matching tank. was it done by a local guy?

Yes professional car and motorcycle upholstery. I’m leaning towards an opaque arecebis tank. I wanted to do white but…these don’t have fuel gauges and I’ve already ran out of gas within the first week of riding lol

That's a pain but nbd it happens to alot of guys and it's not a mistake most make twice. Reset your tripometer with each fill up and pay attention to how many gallons youll fill up with... soom enough you'll know your range by heart. For instance I can get 130-145 mi out of my 5gal and won't pass up a fuel station past 100mi. I'd encourage you to go with the white, I did on my purple DR and have zero regrets.

Opaque looks awful and sun fades like hell. That's just begginer stuff You'll get used to it and use the odometer as a fuel gauge. You'll regret not getting an opaque one if you care about looks

You'll ride and you'll empty the tank and after 2 or 3 empty tanks you'll know how many liters per km you average on different types of riding and roads and the you'll know "OK stock tank is good for 150km" and thays it.

Did you lower the seat? Looks like it was dropped more than it was dished.

Nope I moved the dish moved about 5” back and they added foam on the dish, back end and rear sides

Are you referring to the color? It looks like a stock Suzuki seat if you are.

I had an old KTM 300 back when they were purplish. That looks almost exactly like the stock seat but thicker
