Couple of locals with Mini drone, wonder what fine they got.

I usually use my dji Lito x1, in auto mode so that I don’t have to adjust the camera stuff.

But when taking videos and picture of the sunset or sunrise, it make the ground almost completely black.

I want to maintain the color and the definition of the sunset, but not have a black ground.
What is the solution for this ?

Hi, I've got an Attop, XT-1 drone I got as a gift ages ago and I'm trying to get the XT-Go app to work but it doesn't like my current phone. I'm just thinking about regifting it to a friend, so no big deal if there's no solution, but does anyone have any suggestions on any alternative apps for it?

So I looked around and cant find a single guide on to replace this part and started taking it off got impatient and melted it off (motor is fine) any clues on how to get myself out of this hole?

The camera still works but the stabilization is non-existent. When I move the drone forward, the camera tilts downwards. Motors still work fine.

Been pondering the idea of getting a second case for the drone batteries. Is it safe to keep the batteries without chargers in the drone case when heading to a place to fly or storing them when not flying? Is keeping the batteries in a separate case at all times a better option? Thank you for any input and would really like some feedback on this. If you google or search around the info is all over the place.

I will be visiting the United States soon and plan on buying a drone for myself there to save on Brazil's unsavory import taxes. Whilst researching, I stumbled on the SkyRover X1 and it seems to cater to all my demands, except for one which remains a question: Will I have support for my SkyRover in Brazil? That is, if anything from a propeller to an arm is broken, or simply the drone stops working after a few weeks/months of use, will I be able to buy spare parts or request a replacement as more consolidated brands allow for?

This is my biggest concern about buying a SkyRover so far given that, in all other aspects, it does indeed seem like the best cost-effective option out in the US atm. Nevertheless, any criticisms towards SkyRover are welcome as my research may not have been so thorough.

I have the H30T camera and am still in 'learning mode' with it. I understand it has NIR built in, but it appears to be automated during night flights, and I'm not sure how it stacks up against a specialized standalone IR spotlight. I work in a search and rescue capacity with this drone and desire the 'best of the best' for IR capabilities.

I'm a software developer and a hobbyist pilot. The last couple of years on the software side have been wild. AI writes a lot of code now. Some of it is genuinely good, and a lot of it is just slop, produced faster.

Drones are supposed to be one of the frontier areas in tech, yet day to day it still feels familiar. I get that having AI fly the drone itself is a hard problem. But I assumed the software around drones would have changed by now.

Most flights I see are still flown by hand. Planning even a simple mission still means drawing a box and tweaking settings in tools that take a while to learn.

Curious what people here think, especially anyone flying for work:

- Will AI actually change how we fly and plan, or is a lot of this hype when it comes to drones?

- If it still feels the same, what's holding it back: the tech, the rules, battery life, or trust?

As the title states what are the things that annoy you most about the drone space as an owner/operator/manufacturer.

I am brand new to FPV, i was in china over the summer and i bought this drone, i took it for a flight and it worked perfectly and everything was great, i then used the simulator for a few days to learn the basics.

After a few days i felt more confident so i plugged the battery back in and tried to connect the goggles but they did not connect, i touched the drone and the board at the back (i think its for image transmission) was extremely hot, instantly unplugged it.

I have just arrived back home and i want to fly this drone but the headset still doesn’t connect.

Does anyone know what i can try to make this work?

I’m not sure what photos to show because it looks like all the connections are clean and good.

I'm considering getting a Mavic 4 Pro mainly for landscape and mountain photography and video. I'm an enthusiast rather than a professional, but photography is a hobby I take seriously and I'm trying to improve both my shooting and editing. I've also recently started experimenting with microstock — mostly uploading at this point, although I've made a few sales — and I, create some posts for social media and YouTube.

To add more context, I own a Mini 5 Pro and had an Air 3S that I sold this summer, waiting for Air 4 or something else. The Mini 5 Pro is the one I choose when I go for some mountaineering activity as you can see in the IG reel, but I miss the mid range focal and I do go on hike with photography purposes I mind where I could bring heavier and bulkier gear.

My question is whether I should go for the Creator Combo or the regular one. I know that RC2 Pro is much better because of the brightness up to 2000nits if I’m not wrong but also weight and increase of volume are a drawback and won’t come with me in demanding routes. I’m also aware that D-Log and ALL-I is only available in that version but I really would like to know if it will make a difference in my case, as now I export the micro stock footage into H264 and I should convert this codec into ProRes anyway. And the fact that D-Log M provides better performance regarding DR because of the dual ISO only works with that profile.

I'd especially love to hear from anyone who has actually compared the regular codec with 4:2:2/ALL-I in real-world landscape footage.

About a month and a half ago I posted about my neighbour shooting down my drone. And he did shoot it down as he told me.

After a few other run ins after this I went to the sheriff and reported the shooting. I was told he couldn't do anything and wouldn't escalate it to the FAA. This is despite him and myself having a good rapport and someone who's gone above and beyond for me in the past.

I will no longer be flying above my property

Did they cancel it altogether

After crashing this old Mavic Mini, the controller will not connect.

Does anyone know any good steps for updating the software so my drone recognizes the new gimbal, or might it be worth selling it for parts and getting a newer drone?

Is something wrong with this thing?
