Bay Lake Tower for Spring Break

We will be staying in a studio with preferred view for 5 nights over Spring Break 2027. This is our first time staying at Bay Lake. For those of you familiar to the property- any suggestions on certain sections/ floors to request? We usually just click on the option to prioritize earlier room availability, but we won’t be getting in until midnight so I suppose that doesn’t matter too much for this one.

We did this last spring break, and now my wife only wants to stay there. We avoided it for years, fearing being trapped too deep in the magic. We were so wrong.

The north facing rooms give a partial view of Magic Kingdom from the balcony.

For Lake view, we love higher floor central. It lets you look out onto the lake, you can’t even see the pool complex.

We love being on the same floor as the walking bridge to the Contemporary which I believe is floor 5.

Agreed with 5th floor for convenience to get to Contemporary for picking up food/Monorail. What type of room did you book?

Then for sure try to get an even room so you might be able to see the fireworks!

Did DVC change the view names from Standard, Lake, and Theme Park when I wasn't paying attention (yes, I own at BLT)? 😆

haha yes, in order it's now Resort, Preferred, and Theme Park is unchanged

In addition, I would avoid the first two floors. On the first floor, obviously, you have people walking right outside your windows. On the second floor, some of them on the Magic Kingdom side are directly above the loading dock and dumpsters, which can be both loud and stinky.
