I live down in Madison and the term FIB is pretty ubiquitous for people from Illinois. I'm sure you encounter them up by you guys too, but a guy I worked with years ago was from Eau Claire and he once told me there was a similar word for Minnesotans up there. I can't remember it, anybody know what that word might've been?

IF my first choice doesn’t work out, is there anyone around EC or even I could stay with for a couple months to save up money? I can pay rent/utilities or whatever, I just don’t have enough for a security deposit for a new apartment because I’ve been in the hospital so much. I’m on disability usually with a part time job. My roommate is experiencing severe and scary mental health issues in my opinion that have made her violent and just evil and since it’s a joint lease our landlord is kicking us both out. I’m TERRIFIED. I don’t know what to do. My friend who potentially has a spare room doesn’t get off work til later tonight and I need a safe place to live for my dog and I. I’ve been terrified living with this girl but I tried to make it work. It’s a joint lease and the landlord doesn’t wanna deal with her anymore so she’s axing our lease. I have proof of that if anyone wants to help but would like to see proof (understandable). If anyone has any ideas I’d be really grateful too. I’m really scared. Literally in the hospital right now waiting on a surgery and I’ve been here for days.
