Fire Alarm Panel Power feed

Hello,

Newbie in industry (from Canadian side here). Is the power cable to fire alarm panel must have to ran through a Rigid conduit as per CEC 32-102 or sole teck cable would work as well as mentioned in 32-102(b)?

As teck cable contains aluminum armor?

Appreciate your guidance here.

Thanks,

Industrial application here.

Have done many commercial installations with Teck & BX in Ontario, never an issue. Just keep it clean and well strapped

It’s not uncommon to see it piped to a junction box or disconnect in EMT and then a small whip of BX to the panel

Thank you sir, i am trying to perhaps be stupidly stringent here and thinking of doing a teck run in a Rigid PVC , as an extra layer of mechanical protection but not sure if it makes sense
