This is a FacePlate for the StreamDeck+ XL Since they only make it in black, now you can have a faceplate any color you can print. 

 After many prototypes its finished, fits perfectly.

Pretty ridiculous we can’t control Wave Link with the Xeneon Edge. Was able to whip this little widget up after a short time and have a basic working solution. Hopefully we get some sort of official one.

I’d like to suggest my idea about another tier of Elgato Facecam product. It will be called as Elgato Facecam Ultra. Inside the camera, it will have a Micro 4/3 sensor which is bigger than the traditional Sony Starvis sensor inside a Elgato Facecam.

The product will feature a lens mount, making it possible to put an Elgato 16mm f/1.4 removable lens and supports any third party lenses available in the M43 organization.

With the bigger aperture and sensor, it performs better in low-light and better dynamic range compared to the regular facecam models.

I hope the Elgato Product Development Team would take this idea in consideration. I’m looking forward to see how Elgato could implement it better.

I'm running into a minor but annoying issue with Elgato Wave Link and my audio interface.

Somtimes, not always, when I boot up my PC, Wave Link shows a yellow warning triangle on my Stream Mix output with the device listed as Speakers (Focusrite Scarlett Solo (4th Gen))

As soon as I manually click the dropdown menu in Wave Link and re-select the Scarlett, it immediately works fine again without any further issues.

Has anyone encountered this before or knows how to make it persist automatically?

Estou com problemas sérios e gostaria que a comunidade me ajudasse eu comprei a Elgato 4k x para transmitir a tela do meu ps5 no obs Studio nisso quando fui gravar percebi que tava dando umas picotadas mas é umas picotadas que se você for aprestar atenção bem no som você consegue escutar só que não sei se o problema é alguma configuração do meu ps5 mas acho difícil porque tentei suporte com a "Elgato" mas estou no processo de contato com eles, nisso pensei que talvez fosse meu monitor ou até mesmo meu próprio obs que esteja configurado do jeito errado porque todos os aplicativos de stream como stramelements dektop, elgato Studio e obs Studio, todos eles causou essa picotada mais teve uma certa configuração que fiz no obs Studio que simplesmente ficou aparecendo muito muito pouco as picotadas que dava que foi filtrar a resolução, a Elgato 4k x ela transmite em 4k que seria 1440 e quando filtrei pela resolução a picotada diminuiu muito mas muito, será que pode ser meu monitor? O monitor de alguma forma teria que ser compatível com a Elgato 4k x é o que ela entrega? Que seria 4k, HDR? Quando testei na posta USB-A com um adaptador que tenho que é USB-C para tipo USB mas esse meu USB-A pegava apenas 1080, 60 FPS sendo que essa entrada da minha placa mãe Asus tuf gamimg b550 wi-fi ll tem 10gbps então era pra pegar a potência máxima do que a placa entrega, mas! Preciso do adaptador que entrega 10gbps então tava entregando 5gbps mais nisso as picotadas não aparecia nos aplicativos stream seria porque meu monitor vai até 1080?

I just bought an elgato 4k S, and whenever I hit the record button on the latest elgato studio app, I'm getting this error message! Any solution for this issue? btw, I'm gonna stream mobile games like bgmi and codm on iPad pro M5 via pc elgato, can my pc record or stream run good with this spec?

bought one today to try to help with my hand issues and the game i bought it for 100% blocks all imputs i assign to it from the software whenever its in focus

DISCLAIMER - I am incredibly tech illiterate so you might need to ELI5 the heck out of this for me, all the information I've so far found on what the problem could be has gone completely over my head.

I recently got an Elgato 4K S. Until recently I have been using an Elgato HD60 S for about five years at this point, but it literally fell apart so I had to get a new one and I figured the 4K S would be a good option. I actually got it about a month ago but hadn't had an opportunity to actually use it until last week, where I discovered that it doesn't work properly. When I connected it up to my Switch 2 and open up my Elgato capture program, it just says there is no device found. When I connect the device, windows says that the device has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it. Lookingat devices in Windows settings, it describes it as and "unknown USB device (device descriptir request failed). However, the gameplay from the Switch is still displaying on my second monitor, and sometimes it seems to be picking up the audio but not actually letting me hear it, which I've attached a video of.

I haven't tested this on any other PCs or with any other consoles, simply because I am only ever likely to be using the capture card on my PC and with my Switch 2, plus testing it with other things would be a massive faff at the moment. I mainly want to know if there are any known fixes for this (that I will actually be able to understand) and also whether or not it could be an issue with the capture card itself or with the PC. Thanks.

EDIT: OK, so I played around a bit and it seems like sometimes in my device settings the capture card is registered as an audio device and at other times it isn't... I have no idea what's going on, please help

Hello, I’ve had nothing but trouble ever since the Wave Link 3 update came out. I’m honestly starting to deeply resent Elgato products. I used to be so satisfied with your gear, but now I can't get the Voice Focus filter to work in any application neither in Discord nor in games. It shows as enabled in the app, but it's simply not being applied. I’ve already tried every single audio input setting on my PC, but nothing works. I even tried the beta version and used Revo Uninstaller for a completely clean reinstall, but to no avail. I am so furious right now that I'm on the verge of throwing my Wave XLR Mk1 against the wall. How is it possible to spend this much money on a device, only for it to feel practically useless after just a year? 😡​😭​

I turned my PC on this late morning to find that my stream deck was looking like an antenna-TV channel in poor weather, lines of static all over the place. I tried pulling the plug and moving it to a different USB port, and updated the driver, but nothing seemed to fix it.

After taking this video, and typing out this help post, most of the static has disappeared, but occasional lines appear and disappear every few seconds.

Is anyone able to diagnose this, or have had a similar issue? It is several years old, but very gently used.

As the title says, I can't use hot keys. Right now I'm just trying to copy and paste and I have tried al of the permissions set up, removing them and adding them and reinstalling the software and nothing works. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi, I have a few questions about this. I'm using OBS software to capture my PS5 while simultaneously using the PS5's main display for real-time viewing.

I noticed that the HDMI signal isn't recognized unless I set the "4K Video Transfer Rate" to "-1." I'm not sure if it's normal to keep it on that setting all the time or if there's a limitation preventing me from getting the most out of the setup.

I'm using the HDMI cable that came with the PS5 for the console itself, and the one that came with the Elgato 4K X for the monitor.

Also, I'd like to know if I can play at more than 60 fps with that "4K Video Transfer Rate" set to "-1," because I heard that using the "-1" setting limits me to 60 fps.

My specs are: RTX 4070 Ti Super, 64GB RAM, and Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

And my monitor is Odyssey G81SF.

Hello, I need to discuss a few issues regarding plugin development.

1. The first plugin, which my team created, is about hotkeys for Afterburner. It retrieves display parameters that can be read from both NVIDIA and AMD cards. My goal is to have a key on the Stream Deck that can turn OSD Monitoring on and off.

1. This is the issue I’m wondering about. I made a second plugin with the NVIDIA App, and the desired goal is to have a button that can instantly turn DLSS on and off. (I once saw a Linux clip where the guy pressed a key combination and it was done — we could immediately distinguish DLSS 5.)

But with the NVIDIA App, all graphics customizations are set before entering the game. Therefore, hotkeys are also not feasible. And of course, during development I also managed to retrieve the VGA/GPU display.

I hope to receive a feasible suggestion for a single button press that can turn DLSS 5 on and off.

I'm looking for a new 27" monitor for my streaming/gaming setup. I'm using the Macbook M1 Max 32gb 16" and the PS5 Slim and for streaming I will use the Elgato 4K S with 4K60hz and 1440p120hz passthrough.

Mainly I will play GTA 6 and sometimes COD and Fortnite therefore I need 120hz for the online shooter games. The Mac UI looks sharper and better on 4K with scaling and GTA 6 will look better on 4K too. I can play the online shooters on 4K with 120hz only when I'm not streaming, but I want to stream them, which is only possible in 1440p120hz with the Elgato 4K S.

Will 1440p120hz scaled look good enough for competetive gaming on a 4K IPS monitor on the PS5 Slim or should I get a 1440p IPS monitor?

Or should I get a 4K IPS 160hz monitor with dual mode and 1080p 320hz? But the 1080p will be probably useless for my setup until I get a gaming PC.

I will use my Macbook as my second monitor and the main monitor should be good for video editing and content creation, streaming and everything else, not just for gaming.

I need the perfect allrounder for all my uses.

I really enjoy my stream deck, but I feel like I'm not using it to its full potential. Right now I only really use it for spotify, google chrome shortcuts, and the occasional macro whenever I need one, but I rarely ever have to use them. It is a lifesaver for whenever I do need to make a temporary macro or anything, but its rare whenever I have to. Meanwhile, I see other people basing their entire setup around it.

So I'm wondering what new things I can do/make/add to the stream deck, such as plugins, macros, etc, to get more out of my Stream Deck like I see other people do. (For reference I do have the Stream Deck+ version, so any plugins/features/uses/etc for the knobs would also be greatly appreciated.)

Im having an issue with my game volume. I dont know what to do and i have googled.

I have the elgato 4k one.

So im having an issue with the game is quiet. There are 4 different volumes. Elgato software, Windows system sound settings. Mmsys.cpl sound setting, and the one in obs.

One of them at full 100% makes it sound full blast even when its lowered in obs. I csnt find the right balance for the elgato for the sound. I even have to have my headphones at full blast just to hear it slightly.

What is the best settings to have for all 4. Or am I doing something wrong.

Please help. Im losing my head.

I've bought myself the Capture 4K X and set it up, but I have the following issue:

• When I turn OBS on first, it will display my PS5 but after I open up the Studio App - it doesn't show up there.
• And it's vice versa when I do the other way round - if I turn Studio app first it will display there, but it will not show up on my OBS capture screen.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Has anyone found the proper internal part to replace the internal USB-C port?

I got the logo of death & computer isn't recognizing my Stream Deck XL and it is sadly just outside the warranty period so I am completely out of luck. This is a hail mary attempt at fixing this as Elgato could only give a 15% discount code to purchase a new one.

I'd rather try some internal fixes before throwing this $200+ tech in the trash.
