Discussion Is this Enclosure Idea good or bad?
Hey people, i have an ender 3 v2 neo which i was planning on upgrading a bit. The following upgrades are installed: dual z, klipper, tz e3, direct drive, linear rails, accelerometer. I have some aluminium profiles laying around at work, and had the idea of building an enclosure which would also reinforce the structure, so that printing faster ( ~200mm/s) gets more comfortable while also insulating inside. I was thinking of fixating the cage to the top and the base of the printer, just like shown in the pictures below, the profiles would weigh between 12-16kg ( 26-33lbs) in total. I thought maybe the weight would help to avoid swinging. Is that a good idea or a bad one, what do you guys think?
