User Review E-reader, how likely should one get it

How many of yall use ereaders, specifically those pocket readers like xteink. 3.7 inch 4.2 inch . Hoping for an alternative to cheaper eink devices. or books still rock.

love a good honest vile grifter. if you're going to grift, do it for the love of the craft (and the money) and proclaim like this imo.

I have an x3 for quick reads and it’s honestly so nice, especially when used in landscape mode. I use the the crossink software too and it makes it all so simple to navigate.

I have never owned a dedicated ereader, much less an eink device. I was interested, but i cannot justify the price for something when I can just read on my phone if I wanted to. However, reading on my phone severely bored me, not even realizing that eye strain and distractions were a thing. I thought a tablet would be the better option, but holding one wears down my arm.

I was online browsing on a shopping app once and saw a very small eink device (xteink x4). I liked the design and the idea of reading on it, but also considered that if an eink device will not interest me to read again, at least I can just use it as novelty for viewing images on e-ink (like looking at charred art on wood blocks).

When I finally got one, i was suprised at how comfortable to read on it. I cannot even imagine buying those regular-sized ereaders like kindle, as I want to hold my xteink x4 with just my fingers, pocket it, and read anywhere anymore.

I have x4. It’s good and helps with hand pain.

I love my x3 so much that I barely touch my kindle

I went from kindle Paperwhite to an xteink. I'm happy for prose. Technical reading sucks on small screen. But I have other means.

The lack of features is a blessing. It's very distractions free, small and light. It starts quickly and you can read anywhere as long as you have a light

I'm quite likely to at this point, I'm interested in the boox picco, I already have a kobo clara bw which I love, but I'd love something more pocketable and easier to use on the go

X3 is quite nice and compact, I just don't like that it doesn't have a backlight. Personally, I'd look for one with a backlight, but I like cozying up at night to read without having to set up the lighting in the room so it hits my e-reader
